I think he meant it as a suggestion, but if it was already implemented, how do you operate it.

The ability to add "friends" is, as mentioned above, a bit useless at the moment as there are only a limited amount of people that are actually on enough times to keep the VE running. We're not like Facebook with a million or so users, so we don't have the need to use or implement a member search/add database.

If in the future that we do have 3 million users, or roughly 333,000 Army squads, then we may consider that feature.
