So I have decided to start a story collab for Verk's past. I guess this is going to be a bit different then most Personal Story collaborations, but all well. Each new post will be a mini story in itself, giving a bit of insight into the past of my character.

With every post you will read up on a past assassination that Verk took before he joined the VE. Hope you enjoy the coming stories. The first post should be up by the end of the week.

Note: Please no posting on this thread. If you have questions, I will gladly answer them, but pm them to me please.

<<< The Death of Graxol Kelvyyn >>>

***Nagados Palace***

Verk moved through the shadows effortlessly, easily avoiding detection from the guards and other members of the gang. The halls of Nagado the Hutt’s palace were lavishly decorated with gold and rare, expensive, and probably stolen paintings. The floors were a white marble, and along the center an intricately woven and decorated carpet. The halls of the palace had been unusually empty the past few days, most likely due to the fact that Nagado had been sending his lackeys out to collect debts and rough up the smaller, younger gangs of the area.

Verk slipped into the Hutt’s throne room, which was decorated more then the rest of the palace. Piles of riches, statues made of dark, expensive marble, paintings and rugs, curtains and drapes, and along the back wall, basking in the glory of his power and wealth, sat the Nagado the Hutt, a crime lord, and Verks boss. Verk kept to the shadows as Nagado was busy with one of his other lieutenants, Faux, a barabel, and a rather temper mental one at that. His red scales took one a darker shine in the hidden lights of the throne room.

“You have failed me again Faux. I am not pleased by this.” The Hutt said in a guttural, slimy tone.

“It was not my fault Nagado. The new recruits were afraid, and they should be punished, not me.” Faux said through gritted, pointy teeth.

“We will discuss this later, now leave me.” Nagado waved off his lieutenant, and smiled as he walked off in a huff.

Verk stayed in the shadows as he watched the barabel leave, obviously angry. Note to sell: stay away from Faux for a few days. Verk smiled, and once he heard the large durasteel doors close, he stepped from the shadows and approached the Hutt lord. Verk could see the shine and anticipation in Nagados eyes as Verk approached him. Verk swept into a low bow, brushing his cloak behind him. Standing he removed his hood, and pulled the black face mask down, away from his mouth and nose.

“Good evening old friend. It has been a few days.”

“Yes it has. It is good to see that you are back, and have arrived safely. Jenuor, is dead then I presume?” Nagado said, licking his lips and rubbing his slimy hands together in anticipation for the good news.

Verk nodded. “She will not be a problem any longer.”

“Good, good. You have never failed me Verkur, you have always done well. The promised credits will be transferred immediately.” The Hutt sighed and leaned back. “I have another assignment for you my faithful assassin.”

Nagado pointed to a box on the floor, just at the foot of the throne. It was a simple box, nothing special. Yet Verk knew that every time he opened one of these boxes, some ones life would eventually end. Verk slowly moved over to the box and lifted it. Inside was a single datapad. Verk sighed and looked up to Nagado.

“When do I leave?” Verk asked the Hutt.

“As soon as you’re ready, a ship is ready and waiting. As usual, you will be doing this alone.” The Hutt nodded to his assassin, and waved him away.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Verk smiled and pocketed the datapad, hiding it within the folds of his robes. Pulling up his face mask, and pulling his hood over his head, Verk re-entered the shadows and disappeared.

***Verkur’s hideout on Nar Shadaa***

Verk moved through his hideout, located within the underbelly of Nar’Shada. Verk was the only one who knew how to get to it, or even get inside. It was perfect. Secretive, hidden, and it gave Verk the perfect place to sit and think; a quiet place, a home. Verk lifted a towel from a chair in the corner and dried himself, wrapping the towel around his waist when he was dry. Verk looked over his humble abode. There were three rooms in the hideout, a bathroom, a bedroom, and a large room that served as a kitchen and living room. Verk was in his bedroom.

Sitting on his bed, Verk ran his hand through his hair, breathing deeply, preparing for the upcoming mission. Verk sighed and grabbed the datapad with assassination specs embedded into its code. Verk quickly went over the specs, only reading the name of the system he would be traveling to, the name of his target, what that looked like, and their last known location, skipping over the bulk of the notes within the message.

Verk set the datapad on the floor and watched as it began to shake, the screen filling with static, and a small plume of smoke drifting off from the corner. Standing he let the towel fall to the floor and moved over to a dresser, pulling open the top door to reveal his clothes. Within a few minutes he was dressed. Verk sighed and looked over his home once more and shook his head. I really need to redecorate. With a chuckle Verk moved into the largest of the three rooms, walking up to a large case against the far wall.

This was the most expensive thing in Verks house, and the objects it held even more so. Punching in the five digit combination, the locking mechanism within the doors slid back. Reaching up Verk took hold of the metal handles and pulled the double doors open, to reveal his most prized possessions with which he uses to carry out his assassinations, his blades.

***Nar Shadaa landing platform YT-6***

As usual, Verk kept to the shadows, keeping contact with others to a dull minimum. Being an assassin, and a good one at that, made being seen by others bad for business. After a good half hour hike to from his home, Verk finally made it to the landing platform, and as always, there sat his Belbullab-22 starfighter.

Verk quickly made his way over to the fighter and hoped in, turning the craft on and closing the hatch. With all lights green, Verk took the controls, and took off heading for clear space to set the hyperdrive coordinates to Tatooine. Once clear of the hustle and bustle of Nar’Shada, Verk set the coordinates, and sat back as the shuttle took of at the speed of light.

***Tatooine, Mos Espa Spaceport***

Verk eyed his surroundings as he stepped from his ship and instantly moved to the shadows, and left his docking station. Thankfully it was night, so there was next to no one wandering the dusty streets of Mos Espa. Pushing a fold slightly out of the way, Verk scanned the street before him, trying to let his sense of direction and where he was settle in. Dropping his hand the fold moved back to its original position, casting the face beneath into shadow and darkness. With his direction set, Verk set off at a brisk pace to find a place to stay for the next few days before he would take the life of his next victim.

Verk moved quickly through the deserted streets of the spaceport. Having been here before, Verk had decided to keep the key of the last person he had removed from the planet a few months back. Having to stay at a public place always caused problems in the long run, so Verk decided to use the home of Benak Hudan as his hideout in Mos Espa. It was an easy walk, a bit farther this time around since Verk had to use a different docking station.

His speed quickened once more to a full run, his cloak flapping behind him and his hood falling back to reveal deep, piercing blue eyes, and scraggily black hair. Verk effortlessly ran through the streets, bounding over carts left in the middle of the roads, zigzagging around corners and through alleyways. With his current pace, Verk reached his Mos Espa hideout with a few minutes, stopping and looking around to make sure no one saw him, he entered. Taking off his cloak, Verk moved through the stone home, making sure no little beggar boy had found his way inside to hide for the night. With everything safe and clear, Verk removed the bulk of his weapons, only leaving a single dagger on his belt.

Gathering his gear, and wrapping it in his black cloak, Verk stuffed the bundle under the bed in the corner and lay down, running his hands through his hair, and taking a deep breath, he went over the picture of his target in his mind. Graxol Kelvyyn, where are you my friend? Where are you hiding in this dusty, ramshackle city? I will find you, and you can be sure I will end your life quickly, just like the rest I have encountered, you will not escape my stinging blade, no one will. Verkur then closed his eyes, waiting, waiting for the darkness to take hold, waiting to fall asleep.

OOC:
Just a sneak peek for the first episode. Might do this for the others to keep the interest flowing. Once done, I will repost the whole story.
