OOC: This is for Mandolorian characters from Sicario's and Verkur's KOTOR story, Sith Reborn: Path of the Fallen, of which I am the only one so far.

{Mandalore – 3,991 BBY - 5 years after the Great Sith War}

This is frakkin good. Its only been three days and we're nearly done.

Joshen Skirata was at his home on Mandalore, in the process of  rebuilding it. Two former pirates had escaped imprisonment and tried to kill the man who had captured and turned them in two years before. They had managed to sneak into Mandolorian space and onto the planet itself. They had flew over his house and  emptied their payload, succeeding in completely destroying it. Fortunately, the bombs had not penetrated the ground deep enough to damage the Basilisk war droid hidden in a hanger directly underneath the house. The former pirates had flown no more than two hundred meters after bombing the house, when they were shot down by a patrol who had happened to be flying overhead. The pirates may have been dead, but something about the attack bothered Joshen.

They knew exactly where I lived. How did they get the information about that? I'll have to look into that later on. Right now I better finish up.

Thankfully, a couple of his neighbors were helping him with the reconstruction project because they were just being good neighbors and they also knew he would do the same if it had happened to them. So far they had gotten all of the debris cleaned up and nearly all of the damage repaired. Along the way he had 'persuaded' one of his wealthy contacts to fund research for a new experimental anti-air defense grid for all of Mandalore. He has a lot of  wealthy contacts and also some poor ones, which is where he gets information from versus the money he gets from his wealthy contacts. He acquired so many because he is currently a bounty hunter.

With it being five years after the war, he was very lucky to even have neighbors. There had been many changes during the war and after it, including many people being promoted to fill much needed spots that were left vacant due to deaths, the death of Mandalore the Indomitable, and the Mandolorian who succeeded him and became Mandalore the Ultimate.

So many changes. I don't think I will ever get used to them.

When the house was finished, he was thinking about taking up a contract on someone to make a little bit of money. Maybe he would even use the Basilisk on the mission.
