The VE Wiki is actually a relatively new project. A lot of descriptions have yet to be made, and there's only probably 1-2 people that are fluent enough in "wiki-talk" to understand how to manipulate the wiki. Riqimo would be one of them, as he's done a lot of work on the VE Wiki.

Sounds good Goron, though dunno about the rest, but I'm nto fond about using other templates. We've got some people here who's very good in graphics, and I recall some professionals as welll:P
We could just design a template and have it incorporated though its up to Kadann really,

Currently I think we've got too little data with certain topics, and too much date on other topics.

And I'd also like to suggest for the DJO part of the wiki that we could maybe include info to the people about "what not to do" if you're a not a DJO member, because we tend to occasionally climb down some's throat when he or she posts something that includes the Force or whatever.

You can show us a sample of what you mean, Ron, by making a wiki page for your character.

The most sophisticated Coding we got on there would be the Character Sidebar Template.  It looks to see IF a variable has a value, and if it does, it makes the table slots for it.  Elsewise, it doesn't include anything and goes to check the next variable.

If you want the most complex coding, consider the Story Participation Template, which does the math to total up your total posts for you.

At this time, I think I'm the only one capable of programming those templates from the ground up.  However I know that others (C-3PX2 for example) that have enough understanding to copy/paste/edit the templates I made with these advanced programming lines to things that may suit them better.

It's nothing overly complex (in my opinion) but eh, it does take a bit of getting used to the syntax, especially if you have coded other computer languages (damn those coding habits that sneak into my wiki code)

Anyways, as for the VEEC wiki pages, those are mostly blank because.... we don't have much of a VEEC

We have unofficial folks that go around and do it.  I kinda manage over that unofficially since I am the only active person on it who has sysop privileges.

For now, it'll probably stay unofficial, but that doesn't mean that work on it goes unnoticed

faced with a little problem

in the main page, under the divisions list you can find links to pages such as the Corps and Navy, ect...

however the links do not lead to the direct page themselves, but rather to a "catagory page"... this in turn can lead to slight confusion and difficulty in navigation.  So in turn, i would like to change this so that the link leads directly to the the page which it should go to..

(So that this) Main Page/Divisions/Stormtroopers>Catagory:Corps/Articles Under Catagory 'S'>Stormtrooper Corps

(Will be this) Main Page/Divisions/Stormtrooper Corps>Stormtrooper Corps

This changes the amount of link clicking from 2 to 1, making navigation much easier and more organized

However... I need to be a VEwiki admin in order to change the settings on the main page, so lemme know what you think

I'[m trying to get info together for my wiki page at http://www.vastempire.com/wiki/index.php?title=TX-47 and found a couple problems.  Somehow 'TX-47' got placed at the end of the 'Y's in the category "STCMembers"http://www.vastempire.com/wiki/index.php?title=Category:STCMembers.

I've tried editing the page but I can't find any errors in the code.  Also I haven't been able to add a picture on the occasions I've tried.
