I've just signed up and joined the Imperial Navy. I'm ready for my basic training.

Welcome to the Imperial Naval Academy (VENA), Mando. I am the Officer of Training (TO) and I, along with the Training Executive Officer (TX), Tomas, our final Trainer, C-3PX2, and our only operator, Ibram Tyrol, will be taking you through our training system known as Basic Training (BT). The four of us staff members make up what is known as the academy staff (VENA-S). We like our abbreviations, no? Don't give up yet! The good part's just ahead!

You've actually already finished the first portion, known as Imperial Initiation (II)- you really just had to find your way here and make a thread to do that, though. The second half is a bit more challenging and is known as Flight School (FS)- here you'll learn about the basics of flight, your equipment and what it takes to be an active member of one of our fighter groups. If you'll visit Flight School and take a look at Chapter 1 entitled "Character Creation," you'll be well on your way to completing the first portion of FS. Once you've got a bio written up, simply post it here and one of our trainers will be along to post their comments and further instructions. In the meantime, if you're looking to get an idea of our club and its members, I highly encourage you to explore the rest of the ComNet and jump onto our IRC server, via either our free chat applet (jIRC) or the downloadable version known as mIRC. Welcome to the Vast Empire Imperial Naval Academy, Mando.

I am Warrant Officer 2nd Class C-3PX2, Trainer Level 1 of the VENA-S.

As Shazam said, you have just completed Imperial Initiation, and are now in Flight School. Its a realitivly simple section, but its also very important. This is where you define the basics of your character, so be creative.

Also, we have annother Feature of the Vast Empire that you can use for your character, The Vast Empire Wiki. Here you can make a Wiki page for your character. Its a very simple process, done by entering the Name of your character into the wiki's 'search' and then clicking "create page under this title" option. From there there is a template for use on Naval Pilots, located Here.

If you have any confusion, writers block, or problems with any of this just let any VENA Staff Member know, you can get in contact with a VENA Staff member though a Com-Net Private Message (in the message center), e-mail, or in IRC (using MIRC, the Java Client, or whatever program you use). Any way of communication works, and we would be more than happy to assist you if have any questions or concerns.
