Also, Crest - have you tried IRC yet? It's a good way to get in touch with the squad and the VE as a whole. The basic way to get it is to go to Java Chat on the front page, which will launch a basic IRC.
If you have problems with that shoot me a PM. If you don't want to, that's fine too.

Shading looks a bit off. Maybe if you used a cartoon (2003 Clone Wars) stormtrooper sketch as a base? Nice start though.

I know I'm not in Blackjack anymore but I would suggest to recolour each colour separately as to get it looking more realistic. (ie: recolour the whitest whites separately from the darker whites and greys)
Edit: Also I would suggest to leave the visor and other parts that don't need to be turned red what they were CPL Beta40 (A3)

Hmm, I'll try it to see if it gets a different result, but usually that handy feature in GIMP takes care of that.

I have always imagined the BJ armor as sort of your normal white set with red painted on various important bits; shoulder pauldrons, helmet, thin strips on the chest, sides, arms, legs, as opposed to a full red set.
