== Background History ==

Squirrel never questioned the path his life would take as he grew up. Born on Tadath to Army officer parents his destiny to join the cause of the Empire was clear before he could walk. Raised more by the school system on Tadath than his absentee parents he learned detachment at a very early age. Left at home with his three older brothers the ideals of struggle and combat were pounded into him on a daily basis and felt to be second nature.

When he came of age to sign on the dotted line he broke ranks from the family tradition and joined the Imperial Intelligence division. His brothers ridiculed him for his cowardice in not aspiring to become an honored member of the Corps. His parents were either too apathetic or too occupied with their own careers to ever offer their opinion.

Shortly after entering the Intelligence division Squirrel earned his callsign due to his surprising small stature. In the Army or the Corps he would have been stuck with desk duties or drummed out but with the Intelligence crowd he was a blessing. His small stature allowed him access where others could only dream to go, and his unremarkable features let him remain only a footnote in the notice of passersby. It wasn't long before Squirrel moved from a junior role into working with the Special Operations Division.

Intelligence gathering became almost like a game to Squirrel. In Special Operations he learned how to be stealthy, and how to overcome opponents over half his size. However, his insatiable curiosity would spell the end of his career in Intelligence. Amongst Special Operations information was shared freely in order to make it nigh impossible for the enemy to infiltrate their ranks, so when Squirrel began to suspect that a member of his group was hiding information he shared it with his comrades. The result was a sudden transfer to the Corps and immediate shipment onto a transport headed for a ground mission. What Squirrel had discovered was highly classified information on an up and coming mission and in order to prevent further exposure he was sent along.

Upon return from his sudden entrance to what had been the most hellish experience of Squirrel's life he was informed that he would not be returning to Imperial Intelligence. Instead he would be assigned to the Corps indefinitely. There Squirrel remains, a tiny man amongst the biggest brutes the Empire has to offer.

== Character Personality ===

Squirrel is a devout soldier. He was bred, born, and raised to serve the Empire and has almost a fanatical love for his service. While he does resent his reassignment to the Corps he never mentions it or complains without more alcohol than someone of his size should ever consume. While he is calm by nature he responds to criticism of the Empire with almost fanatical anger.

Squirrel is small, quiet, and prefers to hang back in the shadows unnoticed. His small stature, meek attitude, and dislike for confrontation often make him the targets of the rampant aggression that is often bred within the Corps. While having a distaste for violence he is more than capable of defending himself and does so with swift, efficient, and brutal surety.

Despite his age he has very childlike features. He is unsure of himself around females and has never actually pursued a relationship. Even when aware of his age and a bit of his past most women find him 'cute' and tend to treat him almost like a little brother.

Aw... my first day was last Monday (8/20). But, I suppose that's a very small thing compared to getting out by the first week of May.

I won't insult your intelligence by placing a standard welcome message here. Here's the quick rundown of key points and status(es)

Story is Disguises and Deceptions. We're kinda of in a limbo as school is starting up and we're all readjusting our schedules to fit around the abomination.
