"Revenge is Sweet"

Hart had set up a lot of informants back in Arcadia. Many of them were in the cantina and the former CorSec officer had to promise to pay them. They weren't exactly willing to go against a bounty hunter, especially one with Malak's temper.

He had gotten a call earlier that day. It seemed Malak was up to his old tricks again. He had already been at the cantina for two days. Hart smiled, this time he was going to get that damned Dug.

He grabbed his comlink and sent Liki a message, "Meet me at Arcadia. Malak's up to his old tricks again. I'll see you at the starport."

He pulled on his jacket and grabbed his pistols. He quickly made his way to the starport. Revenge could only wait for so long...

Li had just come in from a test flight when the call came in. Sighing, she first did take a shower, before heading towards Arcadia spaceport. Hart was of course already waiting when she landed.

Hart walked over to Liki and nodded at her slowly. "Malak's at the cantina. If we leave now and set up position we should be able to take the Dug by surprise. This time I won't mess it up."

"Okay," Li said, "but I'll take the first shot. Don't worry, mine is set on stun. But that way I'm sure he doesn't get away this time."

"Fine," Hart replied, he did feel a small pang of disappointment that he wouldn't be shooting at the Dug first. "Well let's head for the cantina."

Malak was sitting at his typical spot drinking a Jawa beer. He felt a bit guilty that he wasn't with the Empresses at the moment but he figured they'd be safe at the Jedi temple.

He figured he should be heading back soon. He slowly got to his feet and paid the bartender and headed for the door.

Li didn't shoot at once. No sense in alarming his friends in the cantina. She waited until he was a bit further, and then shot him straight in the back.

Malak went limp and hit the ground hard as the stun bolt hit him in his back.

Hart rushed over to him and removed the Scatter pistols from their holsters. He took out a pair of stun cuffs and slapped them on the Dug's thick wrists.

He picked the Dug up using the cuffs and he walked out of the cantina and started for the hotel he was staying at.

"Nice shot," he told Li. "You can either come with me or if you have other business to attend to you can take of that."

"I pass," Li said, "I don't want to know what you have in mind. My contract was also only to capture him."

"Thank you," was all Hart had to say. "The credits will be wired to your account shortly." He gave her a smile and nod of thanks. He placed the stunned Malak none to gently on the ground and held his hand out for her to shake.

Liki shook his hand, before getting back to the spaceport.

Once inside his hotel room Hart untied Malak and placed him on a chair and stared coldly at him. The Dug opened one yellow eye and stirred.

"Hello, Malak," Hart responded, glaring at the bounty hunter with outright hatred.

"The hell do you want?" Malak licked his dry lips. He noticed he was unbound but he felt dizzy.

"I already told you and now I'm going to get that revenge."

Hart leapt at the Dug and caught him hard in the chest, doubling him over. Hart searched for his Scatter pistol and another punch dropped Malak down hard to the ground.

He found his weapons laying near the Desk. Hart grabbed both weapons and turned to face Malak just as he charged at him.

Hart squeezed off two shots from both pistols and both bolts hit Malak. The Dug was dead before he hit the ground. Hart coughed as he was hit by the stink of cooked flesh.

He holstered his pistols and calmly left the room, leaving Malak's body on the floor...
