"The Killer's Name"

Hart sat alone in his single bedroom apartment. All around the room were bottles from alcohol. He had been drinking lately. All the other jobs he tried out for wouldn't hire him.

He walked over to his closet and put on a black business suit, he was going to try to get one again. As he walked towards the door he heard a voice on his comm.

"Mr. Hartigan," the raspy voice said. It sounded electronic. "I have something to tell you. Something that might interest you."

Hart ran over and grabbed the comm from his bed stand. "Is it a job?"

"In a sense it is a job. I know the name of the Dug who killed your Family and I know where he is."

"Who the hell are you? How the hell do you know what happened to my Family?" Hart demanded.

"Do you want to know his name?"

"Yes!" For the first time in a long time Hart felt hopeful. He had given up but now he'd finally know his name. Finally he could find and kill the bastard. "What is his name and where is the bastard?"

"His name is Malak and he's at Arcadia, Tae'Karada."

"Who are you?" There was just static at the other end.

He changed out of the business suit and put on a white shirt and black pants. He gathered all of his clothes and belongings into suitcases. He ran out of his apartment and headed in the direction of the starport.

He got his ticketed to Arcadia and climbed aboard the shuttle that would take him to the planet. He slept for most of the ride but a sudden tap on his shoulder woke him up. He walked down the boarding ramp and looked around. He was there. Now time to search...
