History:

Dath'ros 'Jango' Mattee grew up in the slums of Taros, a small city on the planet Osarian. He was son of Dath'ros 'DC' Maann and Jesi Mattee. from a very young age Dath'ros 'Jango' Mattee was in contact with crime. His father was a Dept Collector for the local crime lord bessan and his mother was a part time prostitute. When he was 5 Dath'ros 'Jango' Mattee met the first man to know his father. the man's face twisted in fear at the very mention of the name Dath'ros. From the day on, Dath'ros 'Jango' Mattee hated his name. Not ever Dath'ros 'Jango' Mattee knows how he got his nickname, but thinks it was the crazy man that lived in his apartment complex. He talked of ancient warriors and peopel with the power of gods, Dath'ros was not very serious about the man, but one name stuck, and Jango was born.

By the time Jango was 18 he had been involved in many of his fathers thuggish crimes, but had always thought of himself as a person that would one day make a difference. So one day he just got up, packed a bag, pocketed his savings and was off.

Through his travels Jango was in many exciting adventures including a shipping run though pirate teritory and a nasty Cantina brawl on Bespin with a moody man named Bath'lar (never trust that guy) and a mean looking Ithorian.

Jango's adventures led him to Tatooine, where he met a Recuter named Bintar, who convinced Jango to inlist in the navy. Jango joined the navy to try and make a difference in this harsh universe, and plans to do everthing he can to make up for his childhood of crime.

Phisical Discription:

Jango is 6 feet tall, and about 210 lbs. He was light blue eyes and short neatly trimmed black hair. He has a small scar above his right eye, just left of the temple, and his nose is slightly deformed from a swift punch from Bath'lar. He has broad showlders and large powerfull hands that are perfect for hand-to-hand combat (although he despises hand-to-hand fighting).

Personality:

Jango is a very understanding person who is likely to keep his cool when being yelled at or when faced with a problem. He recognizes that sometimes he can be a bit to linyent with his peers, however and will often not speak his mind to people he is not comferable with. But when Jango gets behind the controls in the cockpit, he compleatly changes, although still understanding, he becomes very assertive and, with the memory of his useless father always telling him he will never succeed anywhere else, he destroys anything in his way to the path to victory.

Nice job on the bio, Jango. As you said, it's a good outline and allows for further expansion, etc as time goes on. Something which we encourage.

For the second step, take a look at Chapter 2 at the Flight School link I posted above. In short, your assignment is to describe two of the flight maneuvers in your own words. If you have one (or even two) that aren't listed there we by all means we encourage you to use them and they will be posted alongside the rest of them.

Yes sir, two Fighter moves, as requested:

1.    The Barrel Roll

The fighter spins on the axis of the flight path. The barrel roll can be used aggressively and defensively. When used aggressively, the barrel roll is used when you are gaining on your opponent and do not want to over take him, and when used defensively, make you harder to hit, and causes the opponent to over take you. Effectively, this maneuver, causes you to reduce you speed.

Note: this can only bee done inside an atmosphere, if done in space, you will just spin on the axis, and not slow down.


      2. The sandwich

Used aggressively, the sandwich is when a fighter goes on each side of an opponent, one slightly ahead, the other slightly behind. This can sometimes be dangerous for the two fighters, as the fighter behind may miss the target and hit his teammate.
