Howdy, Achalane, and welcome to the Imperial Naval Academy. The man you just met, Tomas, is our Training Executive Officer (TX) and he, along with our other trainer, C-3PX3, will be seeing you through the majority of your training. As for me? I'm the Officer of Training (TO) and will be placing you in a squadron after the completion of your time here at the academy- we'll be placing you according to chemistry, circumstances and our personal belief of where we believe you will be most successful or cause the greatest good in the Navy. Note, however, that I'll be dropping by and giving you little bits and pieces of information that you can either ignore or absorb- regardless, they're not instructions or necessary, but it's likely they'll help you to become better accustomed to the club and get a richer and more in-depth experience out of the training process: I'd like to mention where you stand in terms of rank, position and possessions for now.
Just as every member does, you will begin your naval career at the bottom- Crewman (CRW), and the position known as Trainee. However, upon completing BT, it's very likely you'll be promoted provided you put in the proper time and energy; people count on our leaders so we like to make sure people are promoted for the right reasons. Note, however, that you're not perfectly poor- we've given you a starting balance of 1,000 ICs (Imperial Credits), an Imperial Pilot Flight Suit (combat uniform), DL-44 Blaster Pistol, 3 Ration packs, a 3-Mal Personal Comlink, 2 bottles of Mertine I anti-radiation treatment, and a pair of Imperial Boxer Shorts. These items are to be used in the stories you'll be writing, so the more items you have, the more developed your stories become: use them wisely.
