I have spoken with Shazam and shown my interest in joining the VENA-S and he has asked me to go through the new training process in order to know what the new recruits will be going through when they join. So here it is.

The first step is pretty straight forward and involves creating a biography for your character. You can find examples by other members here:

Other than that, there's not much else now. I encourage you to find your way onto IRC as it is a great way to meet other members. This can be done either by downloading mIRC and following the "IRC Tutorial" on the main page or using "JavaChat" found a couple links under the ComNet once again on the main page.

For the next step you will be describing two combat maneuvers in your own words. They can be found by following the "Offensive and Defensive" link somewhere on the page for Step 2.
