The boarding ramp to Draco Korr's ship hissed loudly and gave off a shower of steam as it slowly lowered to the ground. The first breeze of fresh air that rushed in as the ramp lowered was as welcome as finding an oasis on Tatooine, considering the fact that the long, cramped flight here offered no such luxuries. He strode slowly down the ramp as he took in a mental survey of his new surroundings. He stepped out onto the soft, lush ground as another breeze brought a certain degree of coolness to his hot, flush cheeks. He found himself standing in a bald spot in a radiant green forrest. The scene was one of breathtaking beauty. The sun was raising but was still below the tops of the massive trees, leaving the sky smeared with early morning oranges, yellows and blues. When the cool breeze blew, the trees danced and allowed little rays of sunlight breakthrough and touch randomly on the grass that was covered in fresh morning dew. Song birds sang there first songs of the day and the breeze carried those songs to the nearby village.

Draco had been walking through the forrest, and toward the village for close to thirty standard minutes, and the scenery wisked him away into a flood of memories. Memories of his late master, friends, the lessons they had learned, enemies, battles fought and the blood and tears that were shed as a result. Because of this, the walk had seemed alot longer. He would definantly have to visit this planet again. Perhaps when he had no mission and he could enjoy the sights with no distractions. His favorite place in the galaxy had been the gorgeous Grand Falls of Naboo. And his favorite times in life were meditating on the small island in the middle of the falls. He often dreamed of going back to the falls... and almost just as often, he did. Yes... this place was just almost just as pleasent and almost just as awe inspireing. It could possibly give Naboo competition.

Draco stopped and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath of fresh air and looking at the forrest through the force. Suddenly, he heard his beloved master's voice. He heard it as clearly as he would have if his master was standing right in front of him now. "Draco, do not allow your thoughts to stray from the situation at hand. Keep your concentration on the hear and now, distractions can often accompany failure padawan". Draco opened his eyes wishing he see his master standing before him... but of course, he did not. His master had been right. If only he hadn't gotten distracted that time on Dathomier, he might could have saved his master's life. It was because of his failure that he lost his life. "I'm sorry master, please forgive me". Draco sighed in despare. "Don't worry master. I WON'T fail you again". With that, he continued on through the forrest and toward the village. Success greatly depended on him finding this child before the Sith arrived. He must hurry, he can feel their presence through the force... and they were approaching quickly. He hasn't much time.

Draco cleared the edge of the forest and was on a hill overlooking the small village. Villagers were just starting to appear and start their daily chores. He began walking down the hill and made it to the outer perimeter of the village when he noticed that upon seeing him, the villagers began to stare, whisper while looking in his direction. When he got close, people began either turned and went in the other direction, or flattened themselves agaist walls, and one woman even inturupted her two sons who were saber fighting with sticks by grabbing a arm in both hands and pulling them into a nearby hut as quickly as possible. All along the road, doors and window shutters vlosed as he passed. It was like fear and desperation had become a sudden fashion. At the end of the road, Draco spotted a woman talking to a small squad of what appeared to be village security. She then turned and pointed in his direction and disappeared into a hut after recieveing a nod from the captain. Draco watched them while they approached. When they arrived, the squad paused and them captain continued until he was face to face with him. The captain was about Draco's hieght but was about double his width. He had a short sloping forehead that ended in a brow thst seemed to hide the top half of his blue, beady eyes. Other than that, he looked exactly like a human. Just then, the massive man spoke. "Who are you and what is your business here on Mirax offworlder?"

Draco raised his voice so that all could hear, "I'm looking for a woman that goes by the name Delasani Quee." He returned his gaze to the captain. The captain burst out in laughter that his guards soon joined in on. "Your here to see Her Mistress?!" The giant captain ask in what seemed to be sincere amusement. Draco's expression remained emotionless. "That is correct my oversized friend". Draco said, "Now, if would be kind enough to--" Draco was interupted. "Do you have an appointment puny one?" the captain ask, smiling and looking Draco up and down. "No, I haven't". Draco stated. "But I'm afraid that doesn't change my needs. I still need to speak with her".  "S'at so?" the captain asked. "Can I ask as to what this matter concerns?" Draco, still expressionless, replied, "I afraid it is a confedential matter". Just then the other three guards surrounded him. "Ahhh, a confedential matter. That's what they all say. Man, don't you guys ever give up? Men, he's just another assasin. Arrest him!"

The guards to his right and rear drew stun poles and Draco heard them crackle to life. The guard on his left produced a pair of stun cuffs and started to move in slowly. Draco had to think fast, he didn't have time to get arrested. If he played along, no doubt the Sith would be here before he could manage to get released. The only other option was to fight, but he didn't want to have to draw his saber either. Draco had been trainning all his life to be a combat specialist. Anytime he drew his lightsaber, people usually wound up dead. These guards didn't deserve death, they were only misguided. Draco only needed to teach them a lesson. The guard with the cuffs started to dash at Draco. When he was close enough, Draco reached out with his left arm and grabbed him around the throat without even taking his eyes off the captain. "Please" Draco pleaded, "Don't do this. I'm no assasin, i'm but a mear messenger". The captain's mouth opened in shock. This reaction told Draco that not many, if any, people opposed this squad. The captain's actions suggested that he was considering Draco's plea, but he could read his emotions through the force and the force informed him differently. The captain finally spoke, "Men, I've changed me mind". Draco looked astonished. Could he actually be getting off this easy? Then the captain said, "Kill him instead. And make it slow, I want to hear him beg for mercy". Draco looked troubled. "Guys, it doesn't have to be like this". "Your right offworlder it doesn't". The captain replied, "You could stop resisting and give yourself up". Draco looked down at the ground and sighed in defeat. "There's no other way then?" Draco asked. "No, I'm afraid those are the only options available to you". The captain said. "Verywell then". Draco said, head still lowered in greif. "But can I ask you one question?" The captain looked amused and said, "Verywell, I'm listening". Draco finally looked up at the captain and asked, "How much glory or honor can possibly be gained by a leader who leads his men into a battle in which they cannot win?"

"Now you've gone too far". The captain roared in anger. "I hope for your sake that your fighting skills are as sharp as your tounge is, Hut slime! Kill'em boys". At that precise moment, the guard on Draco's right made his move, coming in with a hard horizontal swing. The pole sizzled as it was making its way toward Draco's head. Draco swung the guard he had by the throat over to intercept the blow... and he did, right across his shoulder blades. The guard fell to the ground in a convulsing heap. In the same swift motion, he grabbed the attacking guards weapon arm and spun around in a downward, diagonal slash. There was a sickening crack as the pole conected with now attacking rear guard's shins, sending him in a front flip that ended in a breath stealing landing on his back. He then threw a backwards elbow and it connected with the captured guard's temple, stunning him once again. Then Draco took the guard's weapon arm and swung it in a downward, vertical chop. The pole contacted the rear guard's breastbone. It crunched as it split his sternem and caused him to vomit and start convulsing. Draco then gave the guard's arm that he was holding an unusual, quick little twist and separated his elbow joint. The guard screeched in agony and Draco spun and kicked, catching him in the jaw and knocking him out. Draco stood and brushed himself off. He turned and faced the captain once again. The captain was now wearing a emotion on his face that was mixed with shock and fear. "May I suggest that we start over here? I mean, things haven't exactly gone as you had planned. And now your clearly outnumbered". The captain paused for a second then said, "You know, we're slot alike me and you". "How do you come to that conclusion?" Draco asked. "Because I don't surrender either". The captain yelled. "Don't try it!" Draco pleaded but the guard was already reaching for his blaster. Draco drew his saber and with a snap hiss, the emerald green blade quickly potruded from its hilt. He ran toward the captain as two shots whized his way. Draco deflected them both with ease and then used the force to push the captain into the tree behind him. He then made another gesture with the same hand and and the captain's blaster collapsed in on itself. Draco finally reached the captain and swung his saber in a high horizontal arch halting the blade only an inch from his throat. "That will be quite enough!" A voice screamed from behind Draco.

Draco had no intention on killing him to begin with. He just want to shake him up, get his point across... And judging from the newly formed beads of sweat now gathering on his forehead... He had made his point. Draco could now smell burning flesh. He could see a small portion of the captain's neck starting to brown. He looked over his right shoulder to try and see the source of this new voice. He did not find it, but he did however spot two younglings cowering near a wall. They were weeping and staring at him through their fingers that were covering their little faces. This wasn't the Jedi way. He looked back to the captain and said, "Luck was on your side today captain. If I had been an assasin, you would not be drawing breaths right now". "I said STOP. And I won't ask again!" the feminine voice came again. With a crisp slurp, Draco's blade retracted back into his hilt. As he turned and returned his saber to his belt, the captain dropped to his knees and said, "Mistress, please forgive  my bad behavior. I have failed you".

Delasani was a beautiful young woman who had long brown hair, sky blue eyes, and prominent features with soft, ivory colored skin. She stood at about 5'6" and was dressed in clothing reminicent of old republic senator garb... And she looked ready to give birth anyday now. She was flanked by two guards who were dressed in old battered but decorative armor that might once had been used by the guards of someone of great importance. Draco clasped his hands behind his back and stood straight and tall as she addressed her captain. She giggled with a cheery tone and placed a hand on her captain's shoulder. "Don't be silly Grannos, you have not failed me. And you certainly have not been misbehaving... Perhaps you've been a little over protective but not to worry. Now get up my old friend". Grannos rose but his head remained hung in shame. "Grannos" she said in a kind tone, "Look at me"... And he did. "Why do you believe you have failed me?" she asked. Grannos turned and pointed a thumb in Draco's direction and explained, "I was not able to stop the assasin Milady, even with my squad of elites.  He is highly skilled. He has come here to kill you and we couldn't stop him". She took a quick glance around and took a quick survey of the area. "Oh, Grannos stop it". She smiled with genuine warmth. "This man IS an offworlder, and it would not be an over statement to say that there has been assasination attempts on my life before and that the assasins have all been offworlders. But this does not mean every offworlder is a killer. Grannos, look around you, look at your men". Grannos turned his head and looked, then faced Delasani again. "Now, tell me Grannos, what do you see?" she asked him. "They are broken Milady". Grannos answered, head still hung low. She laughed and said, "Yes Grannos they are broken. But they live do they not?" "I suppose so". Grannos responded in a hushed tone". She looked him deep in his eyes. "Now tell me old friend, if this man was an assasin and possesed the skills that you say he does, then would you, me and your squad not be dead? Now, get yourself and your squad to the medical building for some bacta". Grannos looked suspiciosly at Draco then back to her and began to speak. She inturrupted... "Go Grannos. Don't worry I'll be fine". "Yes Ma'am", Grannos said. And with that, he turned and started barking orders for anyone in earshot to assist with clean up and to assist in moving his troops. She watched him until he disappeared into the medical facility, then turned to Draco and said, "That WAS an impressive display of combat skills. You didn't even have to use a weapon. You are skilled indeed". Draco bowed to her and said, "Thank you Milady". "Tell me, you wouldn't be in need of a job in security would you?" Draco smiled, then said, "I'm afraid not. I am actually here because I need to speak with you about a matter of great importance". She nodded her understanding and said, "Let's take a walk, shall we".

They walked until they came to a secluded area of the forest beside a crystal clear flowing stream with flowers of various sizes and colors that grew in patches along the bank. Birds were still singing but there was one bird inparticular that had an extreamly odd but beautiful tone. Delasani stopped and sat on a tree stump and then began combing the waters with the fingers of one hand. Draco could tell that the stroll had taken its toll on her back because she had placed the palm of her other hand on the small of her back. He stopped but remained standing."I'm sorry for dragging out here Milady. I know how difficult it must be for someone in your condition". She didn't take her eyes off the pure waters, but said to Draco, "Oh come now". It was now that she looked at Draco and smiled. "I have complete faith that you wouldn't have brought me out here if it wasn't a matter of extream importance. Now relax. Tell me what this concerns". Draco turned and faced away from her. He then began fidgiting with his fingers and said, "It may not be easy for you to hear Milady but, it has a great deal to do with your child". She paused and then began to caress her stomach gently with one hand. "I see". She said. It was easy to read concern in her expression. "Please". She said, "Continue". "Verywell. But in order for me to tell you, I must first tell you a tale. It might eliminate quite a few  questions you will want to ask". Draco paused for a split second, then said, "And trust me, you WILL have questions. One hundred standard years ago, there lived a man in which the entire galaxy feared. He brought with him a shadow so dark and so deep that it plunged the entire galaxy in darkness. His name, was Darth Vader".

Draco waited for a minute before continuing, so that he could see if she'd react to his name... she did not. "Before his time, the galaxy was at peace. A short time however, before he was born, a man named Palpatine, who also had powers like mine, began to plan a conspiracy to take over the republic. He was an evil, vile animal with one thing and one thing only on his mind... power. These people are known as the Sith. The Sith are a greedy and power hungry people who care not who they betray, cheat, hurt or even kill to achieve the power and stenght that they desire, even their own kind. Thousands of years before, the Sith numbered in the hundreds across the galaxy. They desire power so much in fact that they were only allowed to become a master when they possess enough power to destroy their current master and claim the title for themselves. This was the way that they could ensure that only the most powerful remained alive to carry out their evil plans, it was a savage life indeed. Eventually, it became Sith law that only two could live in the entire galaxy at any given time, a master and an apprentice. Needless to say, this man Palpatine was a Sith Lord, and his sinister deeds would, in time, breed darkness throughout the galaxy and evil would reign superior to all that was good and just. Then, there was a prophecy predicted. It was said that there would one day be a person who would possess the strengh required to counter this evil and eventually bring balance to the galaxy and the force once again. This all eventually came to pass as it was predicted. But not before, unfortunately, this chosen one himself was seduced by the power of the Sith and joined them himself. He then became Darth Vader. Vader eventually redeemed himself but died just moments after. It has now been a hundred years since his death and the galaxy is still trying to recover from the turmoil that came to pass at his hands. Shortly after  his death, there was a new prophecy that was predicted by one of my kind. A very wise Jedi by the name of Ollis Bere. It states that evil would one day rise again and that there would be a child born that would possess such great strength in the force that it would be able to destroy the Sith for good". He paused and looked up into her eyes and said, "We believe that this child... is yours, Delasani Quee".

Delasani looked extreamly shocked. She laughed a disbelieving laugh and said, "No, that's impossible. I mean, you must be mistaken. My child hasn't even been born yet. Draco's expression transformed into an appoligetic one and he said, "Yes, I suppose that that could be a possibilty. But forgive me Milady when I argue by saying that it would be a very slim possibility. You must understand, Milady, that a Jedi possesses many abilities that some consider to be supernatural or unatural depending on their opinons. The Force gives us these powers. And some of these abilities gifted to us, are the powers to read emtions, the ability to sense others who are force sensitive, recieve visions of the past, present ...and sometimes even the future. And believe me when I say that the force is hardly ever wrong". Delasani now looked a bit confused. She asked, "The Force? What is this force you speak of?" Draco thought for a second then met her gaze, "It is an energy field created by all living things. It radiates from every single living organism. It surrounds us, it penetates us and it binds the galaxy together. It is what gives the Jedi their powers". Delasani nodded her understanding, then asked, "So this Force radiates from Mirax also?" Draco nodded and said, "It does. As a matter of fact, the Force is incredibly strong on Mirax. It would seem that every civilian on Mirax is Force sensitive. You all possess the ability to use it as I can, if they had been trainned to control it and harness it correctly. And your child reads the strongest of all. Which brings me to the matter at hand. I came to Mirax to request your permission to take your child to the Jedi academy to test it for trainning".

Darth Malice stood in her quarters aboard her sith modified Star Destroyer, the Shadow Star. She stood looking out the wall sized viewport at the starspeckled void beyond. There were ships of various shapes, sizes and color combinations going about their daily duties, little blue ion streaks following in their wake. Then a meteor shower decided to grace the area with a magnificent light show. It streaked the blackness of space with briliant oranges, yellows and whites, adding a certain personality to the scene.

Just then, a ship and its crew met an unfortunate end as a meteor struck its left wing. It gave off a wonderful display of sparks and sent the ship spiraling out of control. It then collided with another ship and both ships then disappeared into a gigantic ball of hot flames. The light was so bright it reached Darth Malice's viewport and briefly lit up the few facial features that her black hood didn't conceal. The explosion winked out just as quick as it had come, but minutes after, a fire still burned in her eyes. A blaze so intense, that anyone in her presents would have been able to see clear into her soul and see the dark intentions she had buried there. They would have been able to see a power so great that they would cower from it's darkness and crumble under its sheer strength.

Just then, the chime to her door went off. She made a gesture with one hand and a console with a display screen powered on. A skinny grey haired man appeared on screen. "I grow weary of these distractions. This better be important captain, because if it isn't, you will be wasting your last breaths." The captain remained expressionless and in a monotoned voice said, "Forgive the intrusion Milord but, we think our scanners have located the child you seek. We are but a short jump from it. It is a planet called Mirax. It is just barely inside charted space." She thought for a second then said, "Verywell captain, ready my ship. I leave as soon as we exit hyperspace."

"Verywell Milord."

"And captain, I strongly urge you to remember what happened to the captain before you when he failed to have my ship ready by the time I requested." The captain swallowed hard and it was visible. "Verywell Milord. It will be done." She showed no emotion other than the irritation that was already there. "Very good captain. You are dismissed." There was another hand gesture and the screen went black.

She closed her eyes to try to feel this child through the force. A vision came to her of a child being held by...a Jedi? Her blood began to boil and the fire in her eyes seemed to stengthen by a hundred degrees.
She was too late. But it mattered not, for by the time the Jedi tried to leave, she would be there waiting. She opened her eyes and spun on her heels. She outstreched her left arm as if reaching for something that wasn't there.

On the far side of the room, her lightsaber took flight from a nightstand beside her sleep couch. It quickly came to rest in her black gloved palm. She twisted its familiar metal hilt in her hand.

It has been far too long since you have had the luxury of tasting
death. Alas, the wait is at an end.

She pushed open her cloak and reaveled a black, skin tight body suit that showed off every curve of her finely tuned body. She clipped her saber onto the strap around her left thigh. The meteor shower outside continued to cast its firey colors through the viewport, casting an eerie backlight that enhanced her evil apperence.

I'm coming for you Jedi. Prepare yourself, for you have a meeting with death you misguided nerf.Prepare to meet your destiny.
