INTRODUCTION"W-Wait what?! It can't be.... No.... It can't be you!!" Leon stared at the giant of a man in front of him, trying to comprehend what was happening. "It couldn't be.... Please tell me I'm not seeing what I think I'm seeing," finished Leon, on the verge of tears.
The man's features resembled that of a Demon's, his usual soft eye's were now as black as coal, filled with hatred, an undescribable hatred that not even Leon could comprehend. His light brown hair was now all gone, shaved completely bald. His usual friendly expression was replaced with a snarl, wrinkles running all along his face, reminding Leon of a rodent.
"Yes, Leon. It is me, its been me all along! You blind fool's, thinking you could do such a thing," screamed the man, spit flying onto Leon's battered face. "Did you really think you could help them?! Did you really think you could free every single one of them unscathed?! You really haven't learned anything have you?! You're still a foolish little boy, and you always will be. You're pathetic, weak, you're
nothing." Growled the man, shoving the barrel of his blaster pistol into Leon's face who now sat against a wall, unable to move. "There is no room for weaklings here, there is no such thing as honor, courage, and loyalty. Look at this filthy place! It's ran by gangs and crime lords, sentients that slowly struggled to make their way to the top, only to be cut down by another one. They backstab, steal, and kill to get what they want."
He paused, catching his breath.
"So what made you think I'd be any different? There is no such thing as 'good' my friend, and I am a perfect example.... I hope you have learned from this, and I hope you become strong. Just remember one thing...." The man thrust his foot into Leon's neck, slowly choking him. "You will never be like me, and you will
always be weak. I know you'll come after me, and when we do meet, it won't be a very nice one. You
will find me, and you
will die...."
A jolt ran through Leon, and then everything went white.
Why'd it have to end this way? Why?Five day's later."So it was him huh?" Jasper questioned.
"Yeah.... It was...." Leon replied, his face showing no sign of emotion.
"I see... I never thought it'd come down to this.... I'm sorry Leon, I really am."
"There's nothing you could have done about is Jasp, I just need some time alone, and a pack of cigg's. "
"Alright, I'll give you mine, figured you could use it more then I do, just watch out with the nurse."
"Screw the nurse Jasp," Leon replied, adding a weak smile at the end. "Litterally."
"Haha, she's out of my league. You get better, ya hear? I don't want you out and about yet, you're to weak for that. And listen, I'm gonna be gone for a week or two, gonna try and find out some information on the situation at hand. Get better buddy."
"Yeah you to man, stay safe."
"And I left a little something something in your room, I hope you like it," and with that, the brown haired blue eyed man was gone.
Leon looked through the hospice's hallway window, his slightly heavy-set friend walking away in a hurry.
"I hate hospital's man," Leon said as he slipped a ciggarette into his mouth. "So frikin plain and boring. At least there's a Holo Projector." Finished Leon as he lit the ciggarette. He took a long and soothing drag, letting it out with a sigh.
Pressing a button on the right arm of the hospital bed, Leon watched as the Holo Projector flashed to life, instantly bringing up the new's channel.
"In other new's, we've just received reports that a bombing in a Tatooine Space Port has recently taken place. Over 500 innocents have been killed, and over 800 have been injured. There are no leads as to who could have commited this horrible act of violence, but officials have gotten the investigation under way. Hopefully this culprit....." The Twi'lek reporter continued, but Leon didn't hear a word she said.
He already knew who it was.
