Appearance: The first thing s person might notice of Mira (Pronounced: My'Rah) is her height. Short even for a female she'll often get a defiant look to her face and jut out her chin as she stares down whoever made a comment about her height. Her body hold curves, sometimes a little too much which forces her to work out more then she would like to, but has to to stay in Navy Regulations on height and weight. She is fond of her small hands and feet which as a guilty pleasure paints her nails in odd colors. Her facial features are soft and delicate when she isn't frowning or grinning in her impish way. Her dark green eyes are round and hold small yellow flecks, and brown around the pupil, though these colors are only noticeable if someone is close enough to see, or if Mira isn't wearing her flight goggles. Her curly Dark Brown hair is, usually after a long struggle, slicked and braided back to keep from getting in the way of her helmet. Normally her hair reaches to mid back and sticks up in odd angles if Mira doesn't properly brush it, which she often doesn't. Both ears have three piercing each which she limits to one in each ear in uniform to be, professional,' but in civilian attire she will wear earrings in all of them, most dangling or sparkling. She keeps her uniforms neat, starched, and clean her normal clothes though are more carefree and flowing. She prefers clothes that hide her shape in greens, blues, and browns.
Personality: Mira is the youngest and the only girl in her family. She has three older brothers and growing up learned how to wrap them around her little finger with either pouting, whining, or just being plain stubborn. Many of these traits carried over into adulthood, along with her sarcastic wit and often blunt way of talking to other people. She's a risk taker, and she's able to stretch her luck as far as it can go. She can appear to be unfriendly and mean, but has a softer side that she shows to very few people who have affected her life. Her face is constantly over exaggerating what she's saying, from pouting to smiling to her stubborn looks. She has no trouble following orders from those in charge but she'll bump heads with people who aren't in charge and who try to order her around. Her intelligence sometimes gets away with her and she doesn't hold much patience in people who she has to explain herself to.
Background: After two years of trying to have their last child Mira was born to her two parents and was named Miracle for being a girl. Growing up she was constantly tagging behind her four older brothers, much to the exasperation of their friends who called her, 'shorty,' 'squirt,' and 'mousey Mira.' That is until she beat up the neighborhood bully who was two years her senior because he was hurting a stray animal by trying to tie a burning stick to the creatures tail. She gained some respect from her brothers friends, mostly as a little sister status. As her brothers went to school, and Mira being to young to go, she stayed home and was taught by her mother how to keep house, something she tried to sneak out of all the time, until her mother got fed up with Mira going missing and enrolled her in school a year earlier then usual.
Mira started school when she was seven years old, she quickly excelled in her studies to graduated school as soon as possible. She watched as her older brother enlisted in the Vast Empire Stormtrooper Corps, and received letters from him every month and became fascinated with combat. By her tenth birthday she could shoot as well as her older brothers and was fixing air speeders after school for her second brother's races. She didn't get the chance to race herself, other then when her second brother was feeling generous, until her brother had been grounded and needed to pay off a debt. Braiding back her hair, putting on her goggles and helmet Mira jumped into the pilot seat. Unknown to her there was a scout for a nearby piloting school watching the race. After coming in second, earning enough money to pay her brother's debt, the scout came up to Mira and with a little begging, crying, a pouting Mira went to the piloting school. While in school Mira got a letter from her second brother saying her was going into the Vast Empire Navy and she realized this was what she wanted to do too. Studying hard and ignoring the taunts of her third brother and his friends who were going to a higher quality pilot school, Mira graduated school in flying colors. She was then recruited into a second more advanced school where she spent most of her teenage years studying and learning to fly.
In her last year of school she received a letter from her brother about a friend of his who joined the VE Navy as well and that he was thinking of taking the same route. Though at last minute her third brother decided to help her mother and father with their family shop. After Graduation Mira signed up for the VE Navy without consulting her parents, which caused them to go into a terrifying rage, which they still haven't forgiven her for. She made her way through basic and piloting school with high marks and is now on her way to her first squad assignment.
