I would be Drakus, the new recruit.  I was told to post here, but even so I would like to say hi to everyone and say good job so far on keeping order in the Empire thusfar.  Oh and I hear we have a second Death Star under construction.  Let me know how that works out, seriously.

By posting here you have completed Imperial Initiation (II), the first step of your Basic Training (BT). The Next step in Basic Training is Flight School, the Final Phase of Basic Training. The first step in Flight School is Chapter 1: Character Development. This is where you create your character; their physical characteristics, history, ect. The link above is to the Flight School section of our Wiki, it has very useful information and I encourage you to read it about the area of training you are in.

Once you complete the Biography on your character, post it in this topic and it will be graded by a staff member of the VENA, after which they will move you on into the next section of Basic Training. Be creative in your biography, let it define your character, their history, their views, ect.

If you have any confusion, writers block, or problems with any of this just let any VENA Staff Member know, you can get in contact with a VENA Staff member though a Com-Net Private Message (in the message center), e-mail, or in IRC (using MIRC, the Java Client, or whatever program you use)(The IRC channel for the VENA is: #VENA ). Just a little side note: The Vast Empire Takes place in the year 9 ABY (9 years after the battle of yavin) Both Death Stars have been destroyed by the Rebellion, the second one was destroyed in the year 4 ABY.

Bio: Drakus never met his mother who had died in childbirth, and his father was arrested when Drakus was 13.  His father was very wealthy, but was found out to have been running an illegal gambling ring.  After that, the ill-gotten fortune was taken away and Drakus inherited only his home.  However, he left it less than 3 weeks after his father's arrest in an attempt to try and find work.  After the first year or so he realized and accepted .he was unable to hold a steady job.  But as fate would have it, three days before Drakus turned 15, he had noticed a bounty in one of the cantinas and had recognized the man as his boss who had just fired him from his job of repairing damaged weapons.  Mostly out of revenge and need for money, Drakus confronted the man and was able to detain him.  He brought the man in and later learned that the guns he had been fixing up were shipments stolen from the imperial army by space pirates and had been damaged in the process.  For the next portion of his life, Drakus continued to take bounties and became what is known as a Bounty Hunter.  Drakus became very proficient and even owned his own armor.  However, after dealing with the individual rebel scum for 11 long years Drakus decided to join in the effort to rid them from the galaxy altogether.  However after a good 9 years of sleeping in his ship, it became so run down that his trip back to naboo to see what had become of his house was the ship's last.  After moving all of his possessions to his old home, which had become overgrown by trees and infested by insects, yet otherwise held out okay, Drakus enlisted in the Imperial Navy, and set out on his military career.
