hello to everyone

i am a new member but i have always loved Star wars. but sadly they have yet to create a game whee you can rise through the ranks of either faction. now that i have found Vast Empire i trust that you and the empire will not let me down. i am also excited about the force fo pofesionalism that surrounds it and i hope that this will be the start of great new adventure.

Welcome to the Vast Empire Imperial Navy, DIZ.
I am C-3PX2, I am a Vast Empire Imperial Naval Academy (VENA) Operator.

By posting here you have completed Imperial Initiation (II), the first step of your Basic Training (BT). The Next step in Basic Training is Flight School, the Final Phase of Basic Training. The first step in Flight School is Chapter 1: Character Development. This is where you create your character; their physical characteristics, history, ect. The link above is to the Flight School section of our Wiki, it has very useful information and I encourage you to read it about the area of training you are in.

Once you complete the Biography on your character, post it in this topic and it will be graded by a staff member of the VENA, after which they will move you on into the next section of Basic Training.

If you have any confusion, writers block, or problems with any of this just let any VENA Staff Member know, you can get in contact with a VENA Staff member though a Com-Net Private Message (in the message center), e-mail, or in IRC (using MIRC, the Java Client, or whatever program you use). Any way of communication works, and we would be more than happy to assist you if have any questions or concerns.

Love the enthusiasm, Diz, but let's start by getting you a good bio. These don't have to be incredibly elaborate right now- we just need to know who your character is, what they look like, some of their personality characteristics and maybe some reasons why they're here in the Navy. While we like people to be specific and know their characters well, there'll be plenty of time to figure out the full history of your character and include all those nice plot twist that make characters so interesting. For now- give us what we need and we'll move ya on to the next chapter.

Also, just so you know who I am, speaking is the Officer of Training and I'll be the guy who puts you into a squadron at the end of all of this. In the meantime, you're two main contacts are the lead operator- C-3PX2, and your trainer- Tomas. Any and all questions should be put to them, as they will be able to respond to you most quickly; this can be done by leaving your questions here, sending them through message center or jumping onto IRC. Either of them can be found in the room #VENA most of the time. Again- any confusion you might have: let us here about it in this place; we'll help ya out. For now- I hope you'll enjoy your time here and perhaps you'll stick around for a while; keep rockin.
