From Spark To Fire(Jelly, Blackout, Wicket.)

“Alright so it’s settled, we leave at midnight. If only two show’s up we still go, and if fonly one, that person goes. Agreed, no comlink crying if somebody is left behind.” Blackout was negotiating, they had decided a long time ago that they were going to take the next midnight shuttle and get off Tadath, atleast until their vacation ended. They were going to take a break and go somewhere away form the hustle and bustle of Eclipses never ending hard work, if you wanted to call it that.

“That’s fine, but could we at least give the people a little bit of time to get ready, like two minutes after midnight? Just in case, they get hung up.” Wicket said. The sullustan shifted his head downwards. Neither Jelly nor Tyro knew what would hang wicket up, and they probably didn’t want to find out. Regardless he had to agree even jelly could get hung up.

“Yea, we will wait, but the shuttle leave 5 minutes after midnight, so if you’re 6 minutes late your going to miss it, honestly I don’t want to get stuck here, for another day. I may be new, but even the newbie’s need a break.”

“Yea, let’s just settle it at this, I don’t want to keep changing our plan, it’s almost day light we have a little bit of time to get ready to leave, and I have other matters to attend to.” Jelly said, standing up. He was trying to act professional, but both Wicket and Black knew what he meant by “Other matters.”

“Okay, remember no crying.”

-_-_-_-_-_-

Blakcout went back to his room. He had a little bit of time to get some shut eye, then he had to start packing. Though packing would probably be the better thing to do, of course he should have told the others what they could and couldn’t bring but they probably already knew. After all they had been around longer than he had.

He passed the key card through the slot in his door. He thought it was sorta old fashioned , but it worked. Once inside he surveyed the room. It was a mess. The whole place looked tie-died, from all the odds’ and ends that he had laying on the ground. One pile was for his laundry, another was weapondry he was fixing. Another was neatly organized clothes, which would be going with him. He thought it odd that for a mess it was organized almost as good as a neat room.

Briskly he made his way to his closet. The sliding door opened to reveal weapons hanging on the walls and clothes hanging from hanger. It was a nice set up , probably the neatest part of the whole room. He quickly selected a couple pairs of pants, then he got some vests and some white shirts.

He grabbed a duffle bag, a blue bag with silver lighning and a light blue emblem which just happened to be the echani symbol, quickly he threw everything in it and let it lay. He had never had to pack just a few things, so choosing was the hardest part, specially weapons wise.

He surveyed his weapons selection, it wasn’t that great, a few that were passed on from his family, a few he had just bought recently from the Imperial Store. His favorite though was a set of knives, which were deadly in his hand. Since he was echani his faster than normal reflexes made it possible to throw them farther and faster than what should be humanly possible, which would explain why he was considered half-human. He looked the knives over quickly, trying to find dents or how dull they were, but they were as sharp as when he had first bought them, which satisfied Him.

Next, he selected a DC-17 Interchangable combat system. It was a weapon that he wasn’t skilled with, since he wasn’t great with a gun, but when needed it could get anyone out of a sticky situation, even if the wielder had no clue what he was doing. Although he was an okay shot with the sniper attachment.

It wasn’t long before he was all packed. He didn’t know though what he was going to do now, he could go train, he could shop, or he could just go for a walk. He chose the first. As he grabbed his knives to walk out the door he noticed the clock read 1200 hours, he had exactly half a day to do anything. Which by military time was an eternity, but to tyro that was going to be longest half a day of his life.

Wicket left the meeting with Jelly, Goblin, and Blackout. This was a chance for him to get to know one of the newest members of Eclipse and travelling with good friends, Jelly and Goblin. Well this should be quite an interesting mission. Wicket said as he walked out the door. He then looked down at his datapad to see the time. Ah good. Enough time for me to take a nap. Wicket rushed back to his room. Once there he jumped onto his bed and closed his eyes.

Wicket woke up to the sound of Goblin on his comlink. "Wicket wake up! I know you are sleeping. If you weren't you would be down here by now. Hurry you only have ten minutes before the shuttle leaves!"

Wicket looked over at the pedestal where the alarm clock usually is. It was not there. Wicket looked around the room to see where it was. He noticed that across the room there was the alarm clock broken in pieces on the ground. "How did that get there." He thought out loud. Wicket forgot that he threw the alarm clock in his sleep because it was going off. "Well that's something I need to get."

Five minutes later Wicket was out the door with all his bags and what not. The shuttle would be there in just five minutes. For the first time in a long time Wicket would be on time to something. All of a sudden a new recruit stopped him in the halls. "Excuse me sir. Do you know where I could find the cafeteria?" The man asked.

"Yeah. It's right down that way. Then you take a left, then left again. Once you get to the last door of that hall take a right then go straight. You should be able to see it. Not hard to miss. The smell of the food brings you there on it's own." Wicket continued to ramble on for a few more minutes. "Shit!" Wicket yelled looked down at the time.

Wicket started to run for the shuttle. It was in sight and had just pulled up. Wicket began to sprint faster. The shuttle doors closed right when Wicket entered. He looked around for the others and saw his best friend Goblin sitting down with an extra seat. Jelly and Blackout were sitting together. "I made it in time guys!" Wicket said huffing and puffing.

"Actually no you didn't. We were supposed to be here at midnight. You got here five after midnight right." Blackout said. "I was already making plans to go on without you. But at least you are here now."

"Yeah you big idiot." Jelly said. Wicket was used to Jelly's insults by now. Wicket liked Jelly, so he didn't really care. "So now what?"

Blackout had just had the best Drink he had ever had in a long time. He usually wasn't a drinker, but knowing that he was going on a planet with other squad members called for it. It wasn't like he didn't like them, he actually thought them as very interesting people, all had different personalities, but at the same time they all got along... most of the time.

He looked down at his watch to find that it was 30 minutes till midnight, if they were going to get off Tadath at all they would have to meet or they might not get another chance for a while. As he sipped the last swallow of his drink he thought how in the world this was going to be any fun, maybe they should get a mission or something.

After he was all done and the waiter came to collect his tip. He finally got up to leave.

Going down the metallic- white halls felt like he was walking through heaven. As he bobbed and weaved out of the way of oncoming traffic he realized that he had fifteen minutes until he had to be at the Hangar, luckily he was a minute away before midnight. He wondered if everyone else was there.

-_-_-_-_-_-

“Hey Black you made it I was starting to think you would be late.” Jelly said getting up to take his bags. Goblin was standing off to the right Leaning against a pole that seemed to be connected to a cockpit platform.

“Nah, just fashionably late.” Tyro said, grinning from ear to ear. He took in the Hangar's metallic feel and look. As he looked around he noticed that his hair almost blended into the gleaming of the walls. He almost felt like a human light bulb. He snapped out of his dillusion and handed Jelly his bag.”Where's wicket?” He asked seeing no sign of the short-sullustan.

“I don't know, he hasn't showed up and he has ten minutes till the shuttle comes.” Goblin said, looking down at his watch concerned a little bit about how much time it was taking the sullustan to get her. It almost was as if Goblin was worried he was left behind.'I better call him, he probably fell asleep.” Goblin walked off to get a hold of Wicket. If Tyro had a choice he would announce it over the intercom to get him to wake up, but that would ruin the fact that they were trying to let as few as possible people know they were leaving, even if Doc and Saphira knew, nobody else would find out until they were long gone.

“Think he's going to make here on time.” Jelly asked getting the bags ready to store onto the shuttle once it landed. He didn't sound like he cared if Wicket made ir or not, but Tyro knew he did.

“If he doesn't then he doesn't we can't do anything about it, we told him. He's wicket, sometimes he's on time or sometimes..”

“He's sleeping.” Goblin said. “I just woke him up, he's on his way, let's hope he knows the right path.”

-_-_-_-_-_-_-

Five minutes had passed since the shuttle had landed, people had flowed on like there was no tomorrow. Blackout, Jelly and Goblin where still waiting for wicket.

“Alright, that's it. Let's...” Then as if on que A familiar voice could be heard in the distance.
“I MAD IT IN TIEM GUYS!!!” Wicket yelled running as fast as he could. He was huffing, he must have been trying to make his way to the hangar since the meeting was over.

Good 'ole wicket.. “Actually no you didn't. WE were supposed to be here at midnight. You got here five after midnight.” Blackout said, Trying to keep his voice as calm as he could. “I was already making plans to go on without you. But you made it.”

“Yeah you big idiot.” Jelly said, his voice was more of a bantering tone than anything else.

“So now what?” Wicket asked.

“Well we get on the shuttle, luckily it doesn't leave until Ten minutes after we have four minutes to load up, you're lucky I saved us the good seats.” Blackout said. Jelly and him separated the bags between each other. They walked up the ramp into the black interior of the Shuttle. A hissing sound could be heard behind them. No turning back now. Blackout thought blandly.
