I've found a program that will solve any and all lag related problems. It's called hamachi. It sets up a network and makes it like the computers are directly connected (LAN). I believe servers are free, so if someone wants to make one for the VE, we could easily overcome the latency-barrier.

Only problem is that leaves all connected to this 'server' open to each other in many ways. It is suggested that you only participate through this if you trust the people you are connecting to.

Just felt that needed to be said. Sorry to rain on anyone's parade.

Thus why I said VE server. Password protected, private, nobody will know. Still a great way to do things.
