Hey, One reason because I have retired was/is, that I have a job in a Bar over here...I make the music - with my comp. But I have a problem - I have 800 mhz, PIII and 256 MB RAM but anywayz, sometimes the music is for a second or less stoppin and hangin. In which player I play it - its everywhere the same. I will buy me a new soundcard but I dont think it will bring me a change...does everybody really know what I could do to optimize my comp by changing some settings or somethin?

Where are you getting the music from? CD's? What format is the music in on your computer? What player are you using to play the music?

I have the music on my comp in mp3 format. I use Traktor DJ (50 $) but its with every programm like winamp and windows media player the same problem...I have only to open a second (!) programm and it seems like to have problems with workin on both - music and the other programm. But thiz cant be - with 256 MB RAM! And when I look - there are always more than 60 % of my virtual memory free!

Does it do that on every type of music? (not just the music you make) You may want to try to update your sound card drivers.
