Astar is very talented with computer systems. 

Background History

Astar doesn't speak much about his past to anyone.  Surprisely there is very little imformation available on Astar's family in the Cepany records.  The little information that is able to be confirmed is that Astar was born to a family that made their living in the mining of ores.  Strangely though all information about Astar's family stops when Astar is the about the age of 19.  It is possible that Astar himself removed the information but nothing has been confirmed. It is rumored as well that he once broke into the government banking system on Cepany.  However it was never proven to be fact.

Astar was working with a small gang called the Kadisha when he was brought before an Imperial Judge for attempting to rob several small merchants.  The judge, for whatever reason, decided to give Astar a choice: jail or army. He was "advised" to join the Imperial Army before he got into any more trouble. Astar eagerly took the advice and joined the new Imperial Army where his computer skills have been put to good use.  He hopes to be able to redesign the Imperial Starships interface; but so far that request has been denied.  Astar has an odd sense of humor and likes to play jokes on people.  He can also be deadly serious when he needs to be.
