This is only a practice story, and something to pass the time I'm doing. I'll come up with a title soon, but right now I'm using it to get warmed up, I haven't written in a long time, so excuse me if it sucks. Oh and feel free to leave comments, I could use them.
Alone. A small smile snaked across Leon's face as he thought of that word. Yet, he was not alone at all; he was in the most populated city of the universe, Coruscant. But he felt alone, mainly due to the fact that nobody new him, and he was just another face in the crowd. No one cared what you did or who you were on the streets, they just wanted to go around and do what they had to do. No one new that he was part of the Storm Trooper corps, no one new that he had taken many lives, and no one new that he was crazy. And the thought of that made Leon feel uncomfortable at the same time, because for all he new, there could be someone right behind him planning to blow the whole planet up and he wouldn't even know it. "What ever, it's not my problem," Leon mumbled to himself at the thought of that. "At least not right now it isn't."
Alone. Leon let the word sink in, and took a long, deep breath, and then let it out with a sigh. His whole body seemed to loosen up; releasing the tension he had within. His smile grew even bigger, slowly making its way across his face. And he once again took in his surroundings. The young man was on one of the many platforms that were built across Coruscant, connecting to buildings such as apartments, business corporations, and even shopping centers. The wind was strong up here to, and the sound of Air Speeders could be heard zooming all around him. But, like everything else, you got used to it. Leon had even thought about moving here when he retired from the corps, but with the way things were going now, this place would surely turn into a war zone.
Leon cringed at the thought of the war, knowing that soon he would have to take more lives. But at least he was doing it for a cause. The only reason Leon had joined the corps was for revenge, but he new that was an excuse. He had joined because fighting was the only thing he was good at, and eventually he would be able to get his mother off of Tatooine. He had gotten his share of revenge, or at least he thought he did. But now, he was fighting for a cause, and it was a good one. Or at least he hoped it was.
