The scoring is only preliminary for now. But yes, we took first on the leave stories. And second in the entire campaign. We'll know for sure sometime tomorrow I think.
But now to medals and promotions. I'll let you all know what was given. And what they stand for.
Skarr- Double Promotion to First Sergeant, the Iron Heart, and the Vanguard of Thyveck
Rawr- Promotion to Eclipse ASL, Double Promotion to Corporal, Emperor's Will First Class, and Vanguard of Thyveck
Thengil- Double Promotion to Lance Corporal, Ring of Merit, and Vanguard of Thyveck
Taran- Promotion to Lance Corporal, and Protector of Thyveck
Ion- Promotion to Private First Class, and Defender of Thyveck
Treble- Promotion to Private First Class, and Defender of Thyveck
Balac- Defender of Thyveck
Vanguard of Thyveck [VT]
Protector of Thyveck [PT]
Defender of Thyveck [DT]
I don't know how to describe the above three medals except for that they're are a campaign medal with each level of activity, with Vanguard being the best and downward.
Emperor's Will First Class [EW1]- Awarded to members who have shown dedication, loyalty, and outstanding activity in his/her platoon.
Ring of Merit [RoM]- A ring for troopers who have given their life, shown their bravery, and displayed their courage by giving one hundred percent in a competition or campaign.
Iron Heart [IH]- A medal for the troopers of the Vast Empire Army that have shown their bravery, courage, and honor by increasing a squad's or platoon's activity having a major effect on the overall activity of the regiment.
I want to congratulate all of you on the campaign. You guys did an amazing job and I'll work on the squad story like a fiend to be able to get it to you guys either tomorrow or Tuesday. Gents, I would just like to say congratulations on a job well done.
If any of you weren't aware, I've been reading and grading your Thyveck campaign stories over these last few months. And while I know the squad as a whole got off to a slow start, I must say that the quality of writing I've experienced from Eclipse has been inspiring. What's more, these last few weeks you all put in the effort to make up some lost ground, and I must say that you have succeeded where most, including myself, assumed you didn't have a chance.
So once again, congratulations, and thank you for the hard work and effort you all put into this competition, even when all hope seemed lost. Not all who wander are lost.

I'm really sorry I haven't been around lately. My eyes were bothering me almost constantly and it was recommended to me that I take a break from the computer for long lengths of time. So, I've been doing that lately. When I've been on the computer it's been for short intervals. Not long enough to post, Or really long enough to do anything VE related.
