Alright, my post is up. I realize it kind of ends on an important, single trooper related battle scene, but I think it's possible that another team like the main fire team (Thengil, Anival) or someone else can deal with an invading close-range squad of rebels that enters our base, trying to kill us all in the process. Good idea? Or should I edit my post somehow?
EDIT: I can make another post that coincides with my proposed post in order to deal with two problems at once, allowing us to change position, get a better view of the battlefield, and whatever else we need to do.

My post pretty much states that Eclipse is held up in a base of sorts near the Republic's. Our base also has shields that prevents artillery from hitting our base, and at the moment, Infiltrators (stealthy little snipers) are picking off anyone who sticks their head out. Well, if you see Raz's few starting posts in his Out of context's, he says our goal is to hold the base until nightfall. That tells me we aren't supposed to take the Republic base yet, so no real interaction there. I can imagine that the Rep's first layer of fortification are a ways away, or at least that's how my mind envisions it. So yeah, the Infil's are pretty much the focus for the next couple posts or so. As a matter of fact, and sorry if this adds confusion to the fray. Their are no orders for attack. As far as my knowledge goes, their is no Republic base nearby. Our orders as of right now are to hold the base with the small amount of soldiers actually manning the garrison. Just thought I'd add my two credits into this. Being SL and all.

I recommend the topics on the army main with the "Thyveck" header for the background.
There is no Republic base, the attack direction of the enemy forces can be seen on the latest maps. Bastion is a massive, multi tiered fortress.

Since I have limited time, I have posted, and also, I carried on what me and Thengil were doing, I didn't know what we were going to do as per Tarans post. If we were going to ignore it or w/e, so I decided to exclude it from mine. It shouldn't impede your posts, since I didn't mention 'em.
