"I just want you to get on with your life, and forget all this rubbish about heroes," my dad told me once. Yeah right.
3 days ago: I got my military ID, which was pretty sweet and looked the part also. Here I was thinking all the big militaries had big bureaucracies and that everything moved slower than a Sarlacc's guts, but these Corps people really had their act together. Kudos to them; maybe I should buy them a round or so.
Today at 0936: A lot of the conversations I've had with my friends about this business of me joining always turn to war. Well, of course we're in a war with the New Republic on a near-constant basis. From all the newsbriefs I've been hearing, though, we seem to win every time -- probably propaganda, but then again, maybe not.
Today at 1508: I've always watched war holos growing up, my personal heroes which I will not reveal here for fear of being ridiculed. Just know that they were very cheesy holos. As for me going into battle, if my army training is correct, it will be a one-sided massacre for those Republic punks. It will be glorious and honorable to fight in the name of the new Empire.
'Tis true I've never met a citizen of the New Republic, despite having grown up on Coruscant. We moved to the Tadath before the Empire fell because of my father's job in logistics (supply for you non-military types).
Today at 1900: I guess that's enough of my past entries for now. Gotta get back to getting my things in order, you know. I'll keep you updated on my present situation as soon as possible. This'll be great!
May the Force be with you guys and gals out there!

Note: This fictional blog is based upon real life experiences by the author's "real life" alter-ego. In other words, I really am going through military training. I won't guarantee a new entry every day but I'll try to keep it to a schedule. Months in planning, hehehe.
