All right first off don't worry no ones mad at you. Second, this is only partially gaming, writing is the most important thing. The VE in general is a group that writes about Star Wars and we have campeigns and stuff like that, so writing is the biggest thing here. Also you don't need to start a new thread, you can just post a reply. Shazam, your training officer will tell you what you need to do soon, and i don't want to be the one telling you what to do because that's not my job. -----------------------

No buddy. I can pull my own thanks anyways. The Navy Academy I would have to say is alot harder then the armys training, but don't worry nobody is mean or anything. Shazam is a really cool guy and he'll help you out if you have any trouble. And the Academy training isn't that long unless your not on often. Other then that everything is cool, and when your done with the academy they'll put you in a Squadron. I'm in Kaph squadron. So just chill out for now untill Shazam tell's you what to do. -----------------------

Simply highlight the site and right click and select copy. Or hit control + the 'C' key. These will accomplish the same thing. Go up to your URL bar, which is the bar you type your site into, and hit control + "V" . Or you can right click once again and say paste this time. Again- you will achieve the same thing. Hit enter and it will take you to the site. Now all that must be done is simply read the instructions and you can put in the websites the same way we've just done here. Yes, you do need to read them and actually post them. If you can not post you will have no real position in our squadrons since gaming is not very big around here. Yet that is. Maybe we'll get one playin again, or there'll be a new game. Lemme know if this is still of further problem- I'm will to teach but if you are not willing to learn: you need to decide if you want to try this. Thanks for your time. Alright man- I've seen you around since then and it looks like you've been up to working on that bio- just not here :> So:
Life on the worlds of the Outer Rim is known to be harsh.However,none are as harsh as the fridgid world of Osgolad.The people there are not indigenous to that world.Stranded there for more than a thousand years,they have no memory of thier ancestrial beginings.Perhaps a wrecked frieghter or even a lost colony,they do not know.
They are basically a nomadic people,movings to warmer climates in the colder months and following the thaws to better hunting in the warmer months.They are a rugged people,herding cattle and sheep and riding something similar to a horse with horns.
Mykill Doomslayer is thier cheiftan for he is the greatest warrior and hunter of thier tribe.Every once in a while a young strong warrior will arise to challenge his position as he did so many years ago to his chieftan,yet so far he has risen to all challenges to maintain his position.As thier leader he has all the perks that go with with that position.However,there a many drawbacks too.When accosted by the wandering hordes of Lardians,a hungry hunting wolf like creature,it is his decision to either stand and fight or perhaps take losses in thier herds and run.
While on a hunt on one clear night,Mykill looked to the skies and seeing all the glorious stars that shone there,he glimpse a star that was not the same as the usual stars.This star seemed to be heading toward him.It grew brighter and brighter.Soon it was almost upon him.He momentarily cowarded as it passed right over his head.It continue on for just a little ways before crashing to the ground within walking distance.As Mykill aproached the fallen star,two figures began to emerge from an apparent hole in it.He drew nearer.Suddenly,a voice said unto him" phcert.Can you help us with shelter in exchange for food till a rescue team arrive.phcert"Mykill nodded in agreement.Although,he could understand the strangers language,his people were a people of very few words.
Mykill lead the strangers to the caves his tribe were currently residing in for the colder months.There they warmed themselves by the fire,shared the strangers food and held quite a long conversation.It was over the next couple of days that Mykill learned about the empire and the fate of the galaxy as it now stood.During this time he had begun to think that maybe he could persue a better life than he had thus far lived."Do you think there might be a place for me Leon in this empire of yours?"he asked the what he came to know as a stormtrooper."I don't know.What do you think Atrius?Any room for a big strapping man like this in Our empire?"Leon snickered to his pilot companion."I suppose we might find some job for him to do.I tell you what when our rescue team arrives you can leave with us and when we get back I'll let you wash my new tie fighter."Atrius laughed.Within a few days the rescue shuttle that had homed in upon the fallen stars homing beacon had picked up Leon,Atrius and Mykil where Mykil was transported to a Naval recruitment office.The End for now or the Beginning?
Now then- I simply seperated the sentance away and took away the indentions. That's the main format of the VE here. Now, what I'd like you to do, because this is good practice in real life as well as in the VE, is double space. Meaning click the space bar twice after each sentance- makes it easier to read and makes a finer point that you've just ended a sentance. Also- just read through your bio and note someof the grammatical errors or where you may not have realized you had written a sentence in one tense and cut it off to start writing it in others. Some examples-
Example 1
I tell you what when our rescue team arrives you can leave with us and when we get back I'll let you wash my new tie fighter."Atrius laughed
(No commas so the sentences just run together.)
Example 2
While on a hunt on one clear night,Mykill looked to the skies and seeing all the glorious stars that shone there,he glimpse a star that was not the same as the usual stars
(See where you say 'on' twice right off the bat- it disrupts the sentence. Also, you should have said glimpsed instead of glimpse? These are terribly technical things, even the two word in a consecutive order thing- you just pick up on how off it feels when you're reading through it.)
So then- I'd like you to read through this and maybe pick up on a few points for me and those who would be reading this-
So your character has basically no common knowledge of the galaxy correct? Does his tribe speak normal basic without heavy accents and grammatical errors? What do they wear? I was starting to get the idea they looked like cave men- maybe you have a different intention. Also, if your character knows nothing- there's no way he'd be accepted into the academy. You have to take proficiency exams to even get in! Lol- so you're going to have to explain that and are those two character you referred to real? Leon and Atrius? We had an Atrus and we currently have an Atrick if that's what you're looking for- no Atrius though. If you're making him up, that's fine as well. Lemme know- Rock ON.

Okay, yes, a beer or two could help you with this reading. I didn't know anyone would actually read this until I was finished. Thank you Lord Shazamm for you input. And yes it was supposed to be soon to be pilot Atrick instead of Atrius. They meaning Atrick and Leon were the first two people to admonish me here at this site and I still value thier advice so I used them in my story. It was a reallllly rough draft. Furthermore, I was looking at your profiles. and really didn't even know if I was even saving anything right or if you could even view it. After seeing it again here as you re-displayed it I'm not too disatified.Yes, I agree with your editing and could you please make the appropriate changes.If so could you also add that Mykill is a man that has never been measured but under the scrutiny of the naval acadamy that it was found that he is just 6 ft tall 185 lbs. hair multi colored brown.Eyes steel gray and generally well built.As for his lack of knowledge in the sciences.He naturally speaks Common language, and although he is from an alternative life than most in the empire, He has been conditioned by the Imperial Sciences Dept. to know more than he once knew.Today Mykill stands as great as any other cadet that has grown up by better means.Also I'm looking here and it say's I do not have an album.Create a New album.What does that mean.I had albums when I grew up. Yeah, I think I finally did it.Please check out my edit on my wiki site.Please don't be too!! harsh.This has Really been a task. I think I did pretty good. Considering I have made this all up in about 10 minutes. Just took me two weeks to post it. Not wanting to hurt anyone elses feeling,but I didn't want to be from Tattoine or any of the known planets.I also wanted a character that had an entity of it's own,not just a thread or shread of star wars,but a new line.New blood infused so to speak.Lemme Know can't help it every time I write I sign off MYKILL -----------------------

Dude- you've gotta listen to what I'm tellin you or you will probably never get through this. It is sooooooo much easier to post it here for you and me- that means there's only one place that needs to be edited and we can all see it very clearly. There will be no doubt you're doing the work if you just post it here. I've attempted to facilitate you by pulling things off the wiki and presenting them here, but you insist on not following my orders here- what can I do man? Am I not being clear? When I say post, I mean on the Academy ComNet here- not the Wiki. You're obviously able to post here, you must be able to post a bio- or how am I incorrect? You've gotta help me understand exactly what is keeping you or I may not be able to help. Lemme know man- keep tryin. -----------------------
