*Salute Greetings Commanders, Troops and Pilots, I have recently returned from my brief time off for finals and have gotten a few things done.  First off I have uploaded last Sundays (12-09-2001) meeting log.  I encourage all of you to look over that carefully, there was a lot of information given out.  So please look over it. I am going to highlight a few key points that were said in the meeting... First off, a lot of promotions were handed out.  One of the bigger ones was the initiation of our new Army Perfect.  General Athran has choosen to resign his position as the perfect to focus more on the real life. And when he's ready, he's more then welcome to make his way back into the army.  In his place, and after a deserved promotion to Grigadier General, Talon will be stepping in to fill his spot and earn a spot on our High Council, We welcome him. There was also the announcement that we (HC) are taking applications for the new NCC.  Already we have recieved numerous applications and encourage pilots to keep them coming.  I will advise you though that you will have to meet certain limitations before becoming the NCC, these requirements will be given out at a later time when I have a chance to discuss it with our Council. Also I'd like to remind naval commanders that their comnet is up and running.  I will be expecting to see it filled with many reports and such as time goes on.  I'd like to remind you that I do base activity off of reports and this is an excellent way to show that you are recieving reports from your commanding officers. ok...I also talked a little about CoC being Chain of Command.  let me copy/paste this from the meeting just to remind you:

OO|GN_Anakin  Chain of Command is very simple, and it helps keep things organized and delegates duties out to commanders.  OO|GN_Anakin  It goes as follows, If a trooper or commander has a problem or recommendation, he or she will report to their Commanding officer. That being their squad leader and up. In return if the Commanding officer cannot answer your question, he or she will report to their commanding officer until the question is answered.  OO|GN_Anakin  Not only does following this example take a load off my back, but it improves activity and forces your commanders to be active, and if they are not then be replaced and so on.  OO|GN_Anakin  I would like all of you to follow this as much as possible, oh and if you have any questions about what I've said here, ask your Commanding Officer  

To add to this I'd like to mention things that I've been seeing lately.  I'm gonna teach you guys a little thing about respect.  It goes a long way if you use it correctly.  I've noticed lately alot of people not showing respect to their commanding officers.  You all know who you are, and let me tell you that this doesn't look very good in my book.  If you talk about your commanders behind their back, all it accomplishes is a greater distance between yourself and your commanding officers.  And what does that mean...less fun and promotions/awards.  This goes the other way also.  I've seen commanders abusing their powers, even threatening troops/pilots if they don't get their way.  This will not happen any longer.  If you see this happening (in both ways) e-mail us (HC at [email protected]) and we will take care of the problems immediately.  The whole idea of this club is to have a good time.  These actions prohibit us from having fun, and the VE is hurt as a whole whenever it does happen.  So please keep an eye out for each other and keep the VE strong... Alright...now that I got my lecture out for this month...lets talk about better things. Christmas is sneeking up on us.  And our story is in need of a twist.  So...    I will be introducing Phase 2 of Chapter 7 as soon as I can get the arrangements ready.  I'm hoping that we should get this moving around Christmas/New Year. ok I've rambled long enough...
