Just getting started

Hello all. My name is Gaul.
As most you know i just started this game a few minutes ago.
I'm an older person and i hope that doesnt get in the way with most of the younger players. I. E. no snide comments about my age.
I'm looking to be able to travel and explore the galaxy. Hopefully finding whatever the empire needs.
i probably wont be to active on these forum boards but will most likely be on irc most of the time. in fact i will set up my irc as soon as i finish this post.
