As you've probably already noticed.  I've finished two more new sections of the ComNet.  The 'favorite topics' and 'topic subscriptions' sections.

The favorite topic list is mainly where you can store those topics that you really like or want to keep a reference of so you don't have to go searching through the depths of the ComNet to find it again.

The topic subscriptions will notify you when there are new replies to these topics. This is helpful when you are watching certain topics for replies and want to know right away when there was a reply. You can choose to get email for these or not. The default is set so that it will NOT send you email.

The subscription notification works pretty much the same way as the message center notifications. You won't have to keep refreshing the page to see if someone has replied. It will just show up at the top of the screen that there is something new in the topic.
