  A Dangerous Encounter
July 8, 2005 7:46:08 AM    View the profile of Hunter Emnis
Hunter walked slowly up the hill.  It was a sunny crisp day and Hunter had decided to go to the imperial center store.  As he walked down the hill he noticed a person sitting on the floor wearing a mysterious brown robe.  He or she looked rather dirty so Hunter, being the philanthropist that he is, walked over to give him or he or her some money.  As Hunter approached the man or woman, to his surprise the person spoke.

"I do not need your money sir, but thank you.  Go along now," said the person who was now obviously a man.  The hood covered most of the person's face leaving Hunter to wonder.  The man's voice had a feeling of calmness.  Hunter turned and continued walking to the store, setting aside what just happened.

"Wait, could you come back here for a moment?" Although the man put it as a question, Hunter knew it was a demand.  Hunter approached the man once again.

"You are part of the Galactic Empire aren't you?"
"Yes..... why?" Hunter answered curious of what the man was leading to.
"Hmmm, nothing, you have an interesting background."
"What do you mean?  Do I know you?"
"No but I know much about you.  You seem unhappy with the state that you have now...."

Hunter became freaked out and began think that the man was crazy.
"I am not unhappy here in the Empire."
"Well know that at anytime if you feel unhappy with your surroundings, it is not good to leave them the same."
"My loyalties lie with the Empire and I stay that way until I die so it's none of your business."  Hunter ran away from the man unsure of what he meant.  As he left he could faintly make out the words: Remember my offer.

After shopping, Hunter sat in his dorm in the Wraith headquarters, thinking.  The man was right, in a way.  Hunter was unhappy with the state he was in, but he didn't hate the empire, just some people who were in it.  It didn't matter much to Hunter as he dealt with many things bigger with a smile on his face .  He just hated how he couldn't act like himself with some groups of people, and hate to make a defesive cover.  This was his problem and it was fixable and that man shouldn't be talking, he was a raggamuffin and he is preaching about changing your life.  With those thoughts, Hunter fell asleep.

"Another new day!" Hunter thought to himself as he woke up.  He had big plans today, he couldn't get much shopping done yesterday because of that strange man.  He still needed to restock on grenades nad other explosives.  He also wanted to question the man.

When he found the man in the same place he was yesterday, he walked up the man.  "No?"
Hunter got an scary feeling agian like his head had been opened without causing pain.  Hunter calmed down and started to speak.
"Who are you? And how do you know what I am thinking?" demanded Hunter.  He had tried to make his voice sound as serious as possible.
"That is not for you to know, I dont care if you are going to report me, perhaps then you will see that the dark side is not as strong.  But you are stuck there, in the shade, you are too irritable and unable to stay calm.  Go ahead repote me"

So he was a Jedi! The rumors were true and Hunter ran as fast as he could to the store.  He found a droid and noticed someone familiar looking through speeders naxt to it.

"How may I help you sir?"
"There is a unidentified man yesterday and today I found he is a Jedi!"
"I do not know how to help you, please ask the store manager if that item is available."
"Stupid droid," mutter Hunter.
"You know Hunter, you have got to be the most stupidest person in the world.  Don't you read signs?!?!?!?!  It says if you have a suspision about someone from outside the empire it is best to REPORT it!" screamed the man who was next to the droids.  It was Jikkyo.
"But...." Hunters voice trailed off knowing Jikkyo woulld not accept any excuses.
"Now I have track that man down, where did you say he was?"
"Just outside of the store next to the hill."
"You are a moron, Hunter, you know that?  If he read information on the empire off your mind then we are in trouble.  A baby could read your mind because you dont think! "
"He doesnt know anything because I dont know anything on the empire's points."
"Anything will help him, we'll have to kill him. Stay out of this Hunter, its takes a Dark Jedi to handle a Jedi."  Jikkyo left the store with a lightsaber at hand.

Hunter hung on the bottom of the huge rock arch as the winds blew over his face.  He scanned the world below but could not find anything.  Then he saw lights flashing and turned to see Jikkyo and the Jedi in a tense lighsaber duel.  Hunter jumped down and searched his belt for something useful. He only found his pistol so he aimed and shot at the Jedi's back.  With lightning quick reflexes, he turned around and deflected the blast but was  too slow to dodge the blow that Jikkyo gave in accross the neck.

Jikkyo stood there triumphently standing on the robes of his fallen enemy.  Hunter looked at Jikkyo half-expecting a smile but instead Jikkyo had a hard, repulsed face.
" Don't make that mistake ever again.  Your death can be easily arranged."  With that, Jikkyo walked away with Hunter staring...
