Which Graphic design should I buy?

Like it says above, which one should I go out and buy. If the price didn't matter, what should I buy that would let me draw graphic pictures and edit them? -----------------------

Adobe Photoshop CS2 is probably the best, hope you have $599 dollars laying around the house. If not, try Jasc Paintshop Pro (7,8, or 9, they all work great) for about $100-150. Try Ebay also, they got some good deals.

for what ?
image manipulation or build from scratch ?
if just learning.
photoshop 7 and illustrator 10.
almost the same like CS version, without so many fancy effects+filters that is
much cheaper than those CS2 version 
want to build from scratch ? Corel Draw is your best friend....but not for your wallet |

I swear by Paint Shop Pro over Photoshop any day. It's nowhere near as expensive, and does nearly all the same things. -----------------------

Paint Shop Pro 9 (Newest version) is dirt cheap on Ebay right now, most new and unregistered. -----------------------

I've only used PS7, but my friends all swear that paintshop is easier to use for beginners. It really depends on what you want to do. You can get some fancy effects for PS7 too, like eyecandy... -----------------------
