This really wasn't needed. IRC is used to chat with friends. There is no need to have a topic like this in the Lounge, even though that's what the Lounge is for. Don't worry, you're new, so don't take it badly. Just remember, we always make mistakes.

Trooper, what you have to do is make a topic before you post. The topic is generally what you and everyone else talks about, and nothing but that topic. If you just want to chat, get on jIRC on the main site.
