If I'm not mistaken it is an alliance for the reason to compete against one another. One example, if I recall correctly is/was the Week of War (thats what its called right?) that was held between a few SW clans each week in games like JO, XvT, etc
There may be other reasons, but that's what comes to my mind. -----------------------

So we are allies with Rebel Squadrons for that sole purpose. Quite frankly I was the one who made the alliance, but they have never contacted us, competed against us, or anything. Once we formed the alliance we never really heard from them, but that could be because I was an inactive Ambassador. Meh, whatever. -----------------------

Well, are we going to appoint a new Ambassador anytime soon? Because I would be very interested in the position. I game a lot, and I meet lots of new people, including different clubs like this. I'm sure that I could do a good job at it, but I don't know what the requirements for such a position would be. -----------------------
