Awhile ago I said I would look into purchasing the use of a server to play JO on. I've found a pretty decent one for a fairly good price. The key word there IS of course
price. I'm more than willing to fork out the money needed for this...but only if its something we're actually going to use. I think that it is important we have our own server, as JO is the mainstay game of the Army competitions. Having to search out other servers is tiresome, as is having to deal with @$$hole clans.
I've worked out what went wrong with the last server we had. Running JA mod opened it up to attack, but in doing a lot of research, I found a new mod that has all the benefits of JA mod, but with none of hte security risks. That, and I would keep JO running in my background at all times would keep it up and running.
So, if I put up a JO server, who would use it? (The host also allows me to change over to JA if I wanted to, and they're currently adding support for other games as well.)
Just reply yes I would play regularly, yes I would play for competitions, no I would not play because I don't have these games, or no I wouldn't play no matter what.
