Due to the economic strain the Vast Empire has been feeling in the past months, we will need to cancel the pay checks for this month.  The hits on the Imperial Center Store supply lines has also effected the Vast Empire Bank as there was a large amount of Imperial Credits being transfered on one of the freighters that got destroyed.  These ICs were ths tax payments from a few of our controlled planets that would have easily allowed the Vast Empire to function economically for at least through the next year.

At this point, we do not know how long this economic strain will last.  We hope to be able to recover these Imperial Credits as soon as possible as they were being transfered in a hardened case that should have been able to withstand the destruction.  This case did not have a homing beacon placed on it, so it may take quite a long time to recover if it hasn't already fallen into the hands of the pirates.  Until further notice, we will need to cancel all monthly pay checks as the First Galactic Bank does not have enough reserves to pay anyone until another shipment can arrive at the FGB.

If you are wondering how you will pay for your food and supplies, the Vast Empire will be able to provide rations to everyone in the coming months.  You will only be provided with what you need to survive as we have no idea how long this economic strain will last.

We appologize for any inconvenience this may have cause everyone.  At this point, the only thing we can do is get out there and hunt down those responsible for taking out our supply lines.
