Actually, Squall is right. He got promoted for a few posts he did last week.
Length wasn't really the issue. They were quality posts that kept the story together. Promising work worthy of recognition.
As for a promotion in either division, do what you are told to, but also take the initiative to do more. Offering yourself for special duties gets the attention of those higher ups. -----------------------
