Greetings and welcome to another edition of the Wildcard Report. I'm much more pleased with the activity you guys have put together this week (as a whole, not by individual squads). I am wondering though wether you got your acts together, or that you simply were doing this in spite of certain AWOL Checks that were in effect. Either way you're doing a great job, keep it up! While I am on the note of the AWOL check that I instituted on Friday night: I just gotta say I'm quite impressed at how many of you responded so fast. Within about 36 hours, all of Raiders and Dark Dragoons have checked in; as well as most of Wraiths. Wraiths, get those last few posts in and we'll be all set.
The story has moved along quite well. I don't think I really need to order any of you on what to do. You all seem to have your goals down-pat. If anything, I do want to mention that I would like to see some others posting besides the usual regulars. For instance Argon and Anubis seem to be the only ones posting from Wraiths. By all means: keep posting, but try and get the others in on it too.
As we all know the gaming night was a total bust. I'm not going to elaborate much more on that other than the fact that I want you all to keep checking the thread. I'm going to have the new times for this week posted. I'll also e-mail you guys about it. Gaming in general was allright. You guys did some gaming, but there wasn't a heck of a lot of it. Granted, we'll probably see more this week due to gaming nights. As I said, please keep checking the thread for more information.
Last week I made some comments about the recruit situation. I asked those of you on the recruiting staff to e-mail me stating if you would like to keep your paid jobs as recruiters. I also asked those of you interested in joining the recruiting staff to e-mail me as well. To this date, I recieved a total of:
0 e-mails. Let's try and improve on this number. My e-mail is
[email protected] for those of you that don't know. If by Tuesday I havent recieved a single e-mail, I'm going to take a more "aggressive approach". The only one's exempt from this atm are FA and Rema, seeing as they're both on some sort of leave.
Squad Leaders, you and your ASLs were asked to get me times for a good platoon meeting time. As of now, the only one to do so is Kuroishi with the suggestion of 6PM EST. Unless anyone else has a better idea, I am scheduling it for next monday at 6. You all know how easy it is to reach me, it doesn't even have to be by e-mail. I shouldn't have to act like a second grade teacher asking for assignments. If we have conflicts: I'll try to reschedule or cancel the meeting until we can. If not, I'll see you next monday. Oh yes, and all troopers are invited as well.
I will be announcing the Squad of the Week later tonite. I still have some tallys to finish up on (general activity/behavior for the week and such). So there will be no announcement on that atm. However, I would like to draw some attention to Sgt. Flying Knight of the Raiders Squad. He has just finished up the ENTIRE training program for the communications technician specialty. For his hard work I am awarding him a full-rank promotion as well as a specialty upgrade. He can now select either another basic specialty of his choice or move on to the advanced field of slicer. For those of you who pay attention, it is my procedure to promote people after they finish their particular program. Good work FK! Hopefully we'll see some more awards along those lines soon.
