Allright, seeing as how we have the Chapter 8 story out now, Raziel and myself have whipped up a small competition to go along with Chapter 8. From what I hear, I guess there will be 3 rounds of the story, so I guess we'll have 3 competition rounds. Anyways, the competition has 2 parts: Graphics and Gaming.

Part One: Gaming

The gaming competition will be like most other ones: you play a game, report it, then earn points. Except for the fact that now we seem to be hooked on CTF games. Accepted Game platforms are JA, JO, and JK. SO, here is how things'll work:

Duel Games:

Any number of players may play in duel format. I will allow sabers if you're not in the DJO for this format only. This is because duels are really meant for sabers. Anyways, any number of players will play.

Winner of duel: 3 points
Second Place of duel : 2 points
Third place of duel: 1 point
Losers: no points

In the cases where there are only two gamers, there will only be 2 points given to the winner, and none to the loser.

Free for All Games:

Division rules will apply. Anyone out of the DJO: no force or saber except jump. (Yes, you are expected to carry a stun baton) For those that are in the DJO: see your superiors for what you may/maynot use as far as force powers go. In the case of teams, I will award your points by teams obviously. I only ask that if there are DJO members playing, please divide them up evenly.is

Without Teams:

Winner of FFA: 3 points
Second Place: 2 points
Third Place: 1 point
Fourth and below: no points

With Teams:

Winning Team 2 points
Losing Team 1 point

Capture the Flag:

Capture the Flag is usually played with FES. However, you may play by yourselves if you wish. No force rules apply unless it is requested by the host. Anyways, here is the breakdown of the games.

With FES:

If you win: 3 points
If you lose: 1 point

In VE:

Winning Team 3 points
Losing Team 1 point

Capture the Flag matches are scheduled for Fridays from 8-10PM EST starting time. Saturdays at the same time. Sundays 6-8 PM EST Starting time. These times were provided by FES. If you can host a match on your own, go right ahead. I require a 6-player minimum on CTF games though: only so it doesn't get boring. I will be hosting games at the times specified unless you are notified otherwise.

All games that will be kept within the VE must be registered on battleboard. I will be on each of your backs to sign up, as will Raziel. Rewards/Fines may go out after 10 days for not signing up if need be.

All games' points will be tallied up together. Depending on your final score, the prize may be big/small. As I said before, 3 rounds of prizes will be given out. You will be notified at the time of the transfer of rounds. Prizes will be awarded within the week of your notification.

Part Two: Graphics

The Graphics Competition will be run slightly different from normal ones. With Chapter 8 being SOO important, we are making the competition up to scale. Here are the rules:

1. Each submission must depict a scene from the Chapter 8 storyline you are currently in.
2. It must be your own work. (This shouldn't be too hard seeing as no site should have scenes of our storyline in it) This also applies to cutting/pasting of images.
3. All general SW/VE-related images will be deleted on recieval. NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. Artwork will be posted on a site and judged. Judges will probably be some higher-ups that I ask to do it for me. (Ex: Cos, Tal, Fury, PM) I'm not saying those will be who, it was just an example. Four pictures will be selected.Based on the following categories:

Most Talented
Most Effort Shown
Most True to Storyline
Honorable Mention (a graphic that has all the categories rolled into one, but wouldn't necessarily fit in the other spots)

5. You are encouraged to use any program that you wish. I'll take paint or any other program if it's all you have. We want to see the effort, not necessarily "the prettiest."

Again, we will have three rounds of this depending on the storyline. All aspects of the competition will close when the final thread for Chapter 8 ends. This will apply to all the army, seeing as it accompanies chapter 8. All sumbissions for games/graphics must go to Rizzit and Raziel Thanks for your cooperation and look in the competition net areas for two new threads. I will make threads for those who want to display their game screenshots and artwork. On top of e-mailing us. (Obviously, the graphics must be attached to the e-mails ) Good luck to all. #1...  He's a natural and it comes customary to murdering people with lightsabers in all video games...

#2...  He has way to much time on his hands and plays constantly...

I learned from years on the Zone before I joined the VE. I haven't been able to play much in the VE because most either don't play or don't want to lose again. *shrugs* I am very very out of practice though.

Also, there's an old bounty of 200K ICs that is still on my head. 250K and bonus points. Who wants it?

mines XP too but whenever  i try single player it gives me stuff bout the CD not being in the drive and stuff. havent tried MP on it.

Lone, you have a problem with your drive i think, my XWA just started telling me that but i recently had to cut power to one of my drvies to run my video card and i think i cut power to the wrong one, plus the disc is scratched up beyond belief, and ya, JK might be scratched too, just go buy a new one, its like five bucks at Wally World.

Shaz, Windows XP is built on NT, some older apps see XP as NT and wont work properly, my XWA dosent have SoundFX because of that.

and ya, cracking it works, but be carefull in some places it can be considered illegal, on par with software piracy.
