*Alright, this is the story, kinda go with it.  I will post most of the main events.  But, feel free to go on your own side missions, get lost, but have fun.  Make sure you don't get too out of hand though.  No SuperWeapons, or SuperPowers.  No rushing into a battle 1-3,000 chance of survival, and come out invinceable.  Make it realistic.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Lasers flew everywhere as Squall charged up the line.  Light gleamed off the temple, beaming into the Imperial visors.  Rebel raiders came charging out of their hiding spots, ambushing the squad.

The imperial drill squad was walking out of the woods trying to be secrative, when the surveilence above caught site of them.  Suddenly it was like the temple was mass manufacturing Rebels.  All the squad was sent there to do was to flush out any Rebel resistance in the Southern Hemisphere of Dewn.

Dewn was a forest covered planet, very marshy in some areas, the humidity was so thick that it made any clothing stick to the skin of the Imperials.  The planet was sparcely populated by old ruin temples of Jedi Kraith Priests.  It was a popular area to collect force en-powering items such as: The motion stone, allows the jedi's thoughts to be kept inside the rock, and to him/her self.  Deep thoughts and memories were guarded by this aincient stone.  Most of the time they could be found under bluff waterfalls that led down to a rocky surface.

It had been early in the morning when the squad was sent out to one of the temples in search of a small Rebel camp.  Other squads were searching all over the Southern Hemisphere, surrounding them.

Beams of light flew across the sky and into the forest, illuminating crevisces and shadows of the forest floor.  From the side view, it looked more or less like they were walking towards eachother shooting.  The squadrons were close to 100 feet apart, men falling on both sides.  However, the advantage was to the Rebels.  For one, they had the suprise attack, and were surrounding them.  Number two, there numbers outweighed the Imperials vassely.  There wansn't much of a competition between the two.  The only reason that the Imperials were standing a chance was because they weren't standing in any plane field, they were in a forest, surrounded by trees, which gave them a better survival rate.  But, whatever they could imagine in their heads, even if they thought they could pick them off one by one, it wasn't possible.

Suddenly, laser firing at the Rebel raiders was simotaniously, as red bolts glittered in the sky for a moment.  Other squads had heard the firing from far off, and had come to the rescue of the Imperials.  There had to be at least four or five other squads, judging by how much laser fire was going on.  The Rebels quickly dispatched themselves into the far reaches of the woods, scattering about, realizing that they had lost the advantage, and were greatly outnumbered.

After the small exchange of laser bolts between the two teams, they had all been brought back to be briefed on the current situation.  They didn't all meet in some mess hall like they usually did, the information was flooded out, passed on.  But, they all knew where to go.

Suddenly, flushing out Rebel raiders wasn't enough, Squall thought to himself.  Instead, they would have to take out whatever Rebel resistance in the area, and set up a secure camp in the area, for trading.

There were four major routes into the Southern Hemisphere of Dewn.  The one thing about the Southern Hemisphere of Dewn, is the fact that it has deep caves underground, with more than enough abundant resources to last an entire army for years.

Their mission, defend the valleys and caves from Rebel raiders, and set up a camp in one of the large underground caves, and drive out any willing force that would so dare contend with the Imperials.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

*This is what I meant by you might get lost, or go into one of your own side missions, because of the underground mazes, plus, keep in mind that no story can never be as easy to defend, and build a fort in the same process.  There is more than likely going to be an outside force that we are going to have to fight, so keep that in mind.

(Please post if any of this mission needs editing to fit the needs of the drill/story.)

Squall looked up as he heard something whirr in the distance.  Within seconds dozens of Rebel fighters flew by.  Following the huge squadron was another squadron of fighters.  They were imperial fighters.  There seemed to only be one squadron of them.  They were firing madly at the group of fighters in front of them.

Shooting signaled something was going on to the north.  Squall sholdered his blaster rifle, and scanned his surroundings.  Three Rebles came out of the bushes in front of him.  He rolled to the side, and unloaded a magazine into the group of Rebels.  Two of them went down, and the third was injured.  Squall walked over to injured Rebel, and looked down on him.

"Well, you're pretty lucky you are alive," Squall paused as he heard a sound in the distance.  He spun around, and saw a group of his own.  Squall turned back around.  "Whats the number of troops that are on this planet?"

The injured Rebel struggled to breath, and looked back up at Squall.  "More than you think."  With that the man lost his breath, and stopped moving.  Squall crouched, a put his fingers under the mans throat.  There was no pulse.

"He's dead.  I aksed him how many troops they had on this planet, and all he said was more than you think.  I am assuming that we are going to be overwhelmed."

"You assume wrong Squall.  We have way outnumbered them already, and they have already began their retreat.  We are going to be leaving this planet within the next hour.  Get your things ready, and get back to camp."

The group of troopers were walking  down a narrow path.  They stopped under an opening in the canopy of the forest.  Squall looked up, and the bright sun pierced his helmet.  He put a hand up to block out the sun.  Squall glanced down, and scanned his sorroundings.  He picked up his com, and signaled in an evacuation.

The troopers began to make their way to the LZ.  They traveled a good 40 feet, when they heard an explosion to the right.  Shrapnel flew from the area of the explosion, taking down 3 troopers in the group.  Squall walked over to the injured troopers, and then looked towards the explosion sight.  He shouldered his blaster rifle, and began to make his way into the dense forest.  He pulled out one of his Ryukk blades, and started to cut down the plants in front of him.

Once he arrived at the clearing, he saw something terrible.  A group of Rebels were holding a squad of Imperials at gunpoint.  They were asking the troopers questions, and demanding answers.  Squall looked to the right, and saw an injured trooper on the ground.  He was lying in a puddle of blood.  Squall snapped back to look at the interrogators, when laser fire went off.  One of the Imperials was shot in the arm, and he went down.  Squall  eased back a few feet, and pulled out his Slugthrower Sniper Rifle.

He took careful aim as he watched the Rebels.  His Com beeped, and he turned it on.  It was a message from Cosmic.
