Journal Entry 5 - Day 63
Today marks the completion of our intense training. We were pushed to the limits and beyond. From 3 AM this morning, to 10 PM tonight, we were training non-stop. In my opinion, we worked with every support weapon made. My bones and muscles now feel like glass, any movement makes my body ache with severe pain. They might as well place me in
a bacta tank and leave me there, but I doubt even that will help. In the 63 days we trained, and out of the 89 people who tried-out for the MOS of Heavy Weapons Specialist, only 17 made it, including me. Our Training Commander treated me like a piece of dirt. I can't believe I'm saying this, but now, I thank him. If it weren't for him pushing me so hard, there's no way I would have made it.
The knowledge I now have is so great, I feel like Endar Stein, the Empire's best scientist. I am ready to take on any challenge, any mission, or any obstacle, and I now hope, that I could become one of the Empire's finest.
Journal Entry 14 - 9 Days after HWS training
Today was just like the other day's in drill squad. I woke up, worked out, left my quarters, and approached the training area. We worked on the regular stuff, push ups, sit-ups, sprints, weapons training etc. We got back from our 3 day survival-outing last night. The forest's trees were thick enough to be placed on Endor. When I was sitting by a river near our campsite, I was reminded of the times during my childhood when my father took me on little camping trips, but that all ended when a group of insane Rebel bandits decided it would be fun to shoot a Imperial officer with their new blasters. We have done many "demo-missions" and they were all completed with flying colors. I cannot wait to be placed so I can start showing everyone what I can do.
