The Army (and Vast Empire itself) really needs to get more active members. So, here is the deal:

There will be a select few - 3-5 willing individuals (hopefully more if you guys are willing to do this)- who will have Recruiting as one of their main duties. This will be an official positition under the Commander of Training. There will be new roster positions for these individuals as well as increased pay. With this new plan I'm hoping that this will at least get us 4-5 new recruits per week.

Cosmic...sorry for hijacking your post.

I let something get out of hand here and I apologize.  I have deleted all of the offensive posts and I hope that anything referring to it be referred to in private or in an entirely different thread.

Swomz has decided to not take responsibility for any of his actions and that is his choice.  It is, however, my call to limit the amount of discord in this division.  If I have reason to believe there is sufficient amounts of insubordination and active participation in events contrary to advancing this division, I will speak out on them. I just should not do it in a public forum concerning an unrelated topic.

If any of you have a problem with this particular incident, please refer any queries to me in private.  I am willing to have an open discussion about this if you need to get something off your chest. IRC would likely be the easiest place to do so.  I am not going to particpate in a lengthy email exchange. Argon, thanks for your assistance in trying to play devil's advocate here.  Though you did not have the whole story in front of you to know why I responded why I did, I appreciate your efforts in trying to bring rational thought to the debate.

Keep in mind when you are recruiting, that you get a percentage of your recruits pay check.  I believe that percentage is 7% right now.  That is not a subtraction from your recruit, but a bonus to you.  If you get a ton of new recruits and they all start getting promoted and making a lot more money, you get that bonus from every one of your recruits.  There is basically an unlimited amount of money to be made here.  I believe the most someone is making right now from the recruit bonus is about 250,000 IC's.  I'll let you all ponder on that.

I go recruiting on the zone for new members and I managed to pick up a possible ally for us. Their group is RA and they do all kinds of JO RPG. They are not completely like us but they do sound like a good group. Their leader is e-mailing Tal, Kad, and sk8 about it as we speak.

Just a heads up for those who are still debating whether or not to join the Recruiting Staff...

The Recruiting Staff is a NEW position on the roster. Fury has just added them, and the names have been added. This position is another great way to earn ICs and recognition. You get +7500 ICs every month, and have the chance to get 3 Recruiting medals if you recruit 15 people.
