I'll post a short thing soon, and then we'll coast this story on into the finish. But, oh no, the fun does not stop there.

Today is October 1st, and, as a starting tradition, I'd like to announce some of the things we'll be doing this month as well as hint at some cool stories to come.

So...here goes.

October '07

The month of October is going to be pretty jumpy amidst school work and real life. I realize this. We're going to be strung apart more, less in contact due to our busy schedules. So therefore, I'd like to start hosting meetings again! Right after the VE meetings on Sunday, be there or be []

I'll host 'em if no one comes or if everyone comes. They're only there for your benefit, so I suggest you do come. Plus, VE meetings are cool. I guess.

Also, story-wise, look for an upcoming awesome super-mkool story (or just a slightly fun one) coming up soon. And, whether you've heard rumors or not, we will most likely being doing this one with another squad, pending approval, future arguments, and/or bad weather. And such. But be excited. Be very excited.

And...that's all I got. Have fun!

Gio, be nice. We don't want anymore angst than there is in this topic already.

Jenn, there's no need for Snipes to change his post, there's always going to be some sort of odd connections in between one post and another, normally you just overlook them. However, and I'm yet to have a look myself so bare with me, if you both came to two separate conclusions, its up to one of you to decide which one is the real ending.

And I cant be on at that sort of time of a weekday Jenn, with my college hours the absolute earliest I can get on is about midday CST. Weekend however, yes I can be on at those times.

I'm tired and surly this morning, so bear with me.

I know somebody was going to go over a couple things with you, but as far as details go, well, I know it wasn't me, I'm not usually awake right now.

One thing is we're trying to get this story done and over with. I honestly thought you were AWOL and since I can't assure my activity I decided to run off with a couple inactives and do something that required very little.

Another thing is that your plots and story lines are good for long stories that don't involve roughly ten people, when there's this many people involved things are kept simple so that everyone can keep up and to keep the confusion low. That's why we generally have one or two people heading the story and controlling the main plot flow, the SL and ASL. Now these people are approachable about ideas and if you don't think somethings going to be fun they want to know.

The best place for you to exercise your writing is with character development stories. In which case your plots could benefit from a little more planning and thinking through. Some people don't have to do it that way but quite a few do. You need to focus more on details, on scenes as apposed to chapters, so to speak.

The other thing is that you've used alot of us in the squad as supporting characters and that tweaks some people out. Sure everyone writes from their characters view and follows their character, but we try to refrain from giving them the entire spotlight, it's one thing when we have a neat idea to tackle a certain passing problem. It's another when it's continuous throughout a post or posts.

Alright, I'm tired, and wasn't planning on doing this so I'm probably a little scattered. I'm not trying to ruffle feathers, just trying to get you sorted out for your benefit as well as everyone else's. You do have some good creative moments, it's just that a lot of this stuff belongs in a character development story. If you can learn to slow down your plot, simplify it and focus on details a little more then you could do some great stuff.

I'm perfectly approachable, as long as you remember to duck as the large boulder comes swinging down onto your head, don't forget to grab onto the rope hanging high above as the floor opens up, and keep on your toes once the giant alligators start snapping at your ankles.

And Snipes is always an ass, it's something you grow to become used to over time

And yeah...my last post was a huge screw up. I really wouldn't trust that for anything. I'm just following Snipe's point about not editing posts that have already been followed up. Just replace Snipe's name with say Gio's and it's fine though.

No more criticism towards anyone on our squad topic please. Any problems with the story, another member, what's for lunch tomorrow, an alcohol shortage (heaven forbid) or any other crap should be directed towards myself or Arnaut.

As it is pointed out in the CoC, this is supposed to be a place for friends, and tempers appear to be running pretty high at the moment.

Be happy, as another chapter of the glorious history of Wraith Squad is about to end. The story'll end this week and, shcedules permitting, we might have another story up before this time next week. Fun, eh?
