Hey is it just me or did the army notes not say what place we came in?

I'm...very late on posting the story, I'm aware.

My heath has been messed up pretty much since Monday, but will hopefully improve substantially if I get an all clear for my appointment tomorrow. I tried to get my doctor to arrange me a sick note for my internet based writing club, but he must've thought it was too weird or something.

So, soon, I promise.

Alright, bad news.

I unfortunately had to get Cosmic to edit Grahim's post. The only rule I made "Don't encounter anything yet" was broken, and what's more the attackers were made out to be little more than brainless Indian things.

So, I didn't want to give this away so soon, but apparently I have no choice. I said these people were tribal, I did not say they run around naked screaming warcrys. They speak an unrecognisable language, yes, but it's fully functional and not just a series of random screams.

The spears and bayonets they use are not to make them more like Indians - It's all they have. This militia group live alone in the woods, what weapons they have they've been forced to either make themselves or steal from us. So yes, while the occasional assault rifle may crop up, we're facing a lot more close combat with blades then we're used to.

This is why I didn't want anyone to talk about encountering them. Because this is supposed to be a pilot on a whole new take for the squad. Because of the evidence we've found littered around our characters believe these people to be nothing more than barbarians. But their real nature is far, far different. You'll find out when I post the next part (Tomorrow long as my lunch break goes to plan), but in the mean time, no contact.

Grahim, your post will not count for the AWOL check because of the breach of my orders. It will however still count for your weekly report.

Anival was following my orders during his attack, I had initially said that in this squad topic but apparently the Comnet doesn't want to show you it.

I might as well say it now, you did good Ani. You followed my orders to the letter and even managed to throw in another twist that I liked a lot. I'm more than impressed.

My next post will be a big one, and considering I only have an half hour until I have to dash for college I wont be starting yet. Expect it tonight, it's pretty much all written up and simply a case of putting it onto the computer. Don't worry about screwing it up however, the beginning is pretty generic. Post when you feel, short of any of you dying it's prepared for pretty much anything you guys throw.

Just a minor change to my one rule about the story, we're allowed to encounter them now. Just remember they're not pushovers. They're fast and they're deadly up close, unless you have significant hand to hand experience you're going to be in trouble if you get surrounded. For this reason, by all means encounter as many of them as you like, but we're not going to be able to take them all down - there's several hundred chasing us. Just keep running, only stopping to kill what you have no choice but to.

I am sorry for my inactivity, I will make a post after school today.
