So...I used my awesome ability of being able to use a name generator and came up with....tada.....Scimitar Squad!

Squad Leader: Marcos Lockheart - Heavy spec ops background, moderate grasp on almost all skills.

Assistant Squad Leader: Aresu Madine - Expert Sniper, and I mean expert.

Troopers:
Athin Muro - Demolitions
Syrena Fondar (Female) - Engineer
Anthar Rethalie - Vehicle guy
Kea Rosando -  The one with all the languages, does most of the negotiation because of it.

This is a commando squad, all of them are highly trained, to the level of or even higher than Wraith. In other words, just because Kea's only noteable skill is communication, it doesn't mean he cant beat you to death with your own arm in a fight. This is a privilege, not one to be godmodded. They're good, but not invincible.

I want to shift the writing style for this, test your adaptability so to speak. You're all in control of all the squad, able to adapt their personalities as you see fit. Leave command decisions by the SL and ASL to me and RK though, but apart from that feel free. Just don't tread on each others toes, read how others have described characters and stick to that.

I've given you all this week off, a week that I think both myself and you guys definitely need. I'm hoping to get a new story up just after the end of the weekend, in the mean time, have fun.

As to my current knowledge, I know of only Grahim and Anival being active. The rest of you are going to have to get some sort of PM to me sometime before the next story gets going (Say Monday for those of you that like deadlines) so as to make sure I don't AWOL you incorrectly.

On the topic of AWOL's, this unfortunately brings me to the major point of this post. RK has been unable to devote the time necessary to fufil his role as my ASL, and crucially was nowhere to be seen when I needed someone to cover my back. It is for this reason, and with deep regret, I'll be relieving him of his ASL position. Feel free to toss me an application anyone that feels up to it, but please realise there is unlikely to be any decision made anytime soon. Expect a week at the minimum. I suppose getting in early wont help your chances though.

But let me take the moment, before you guys rush to fire them off, to emphasise what I need in an ASL. I don't need any background knowledge of the role, I'll teach you everything you need to know, and most of the role (Long as I do my job properly) is simply shadowing me and learning how I do things. What I do require however is activity, and a lot of it. You need to be more active than every other trooper under my command, if not as active as myself. This is because, if I drop the ball for a while, or even worse vanish entirely, they need to be capable of stepping into control without any panic. As we saw in the competition, you lost me and the ASL was nowhere to be seen, making everything kind of fall apart around us. That's the worst case scenario, and although it wont lead to you losing your spot immediately, warrants quite severe demerit points in my eyes.

And that, I think, is everything. Good work on the competition, those of you that were able to take part put in some very high quality writing, and I'm proud of you for it. There's always next time, right?

Hey, there's no need to apologise. It wasn't supposed to be a telling off, you'd warned me of your rl problems and I accepted them. My activity isn't perfect, and it's for that reason I need an ASL with a lot of freetime to be there to cover my back.

Welcome all three of you to what will hopefully be the new and improved Wraith Squad. You're not new so there's no need to treat you like it, therefore I'll keep this short -

Reports are due every Thursday, and our squad meeting is  normally straight after the VE official. They're not every week, simply because often I don't have that much to say. If there is going to be one, I'll announce it here.

Apart from that...have fun. At least one of us is normally always hovering around in #wraith, so feel free to join us. We don't have a story at the moment but should in the next few days.
