As some of you army people know, I started up some competitions weekly in the army comnet. I wanted to make it available to the whole VE, not just the army. This insight was due to a clever idea by one of my troopers: Lance Corporal Swomz. Anyways here are the results of last week's comp, and the rules and link for this week's comp.
Okay, the end of the last comp has arrived. I did not get much activity out of that one. However, brownie points
do go out to Jed and JR for playing an equal amount of matches. So congrats to you both on the 400 ICs.
This week, I will try something a bit simpler. Remember, these comps aren't only for my squad, so let's see you other people participate in them! We're going to be bowling this week. A lot of people seem to prefer doing that over other stuff. So, send me your 200 ICs. Once I recieve them, you may enter. I will offer you a loan of ICs, but it will be deducted out of your prize money. Remember, the more of you that sign up: the more prizes I will be giving out---which also means they will be bigger too!
The link for bowling is http://www.candystand.com/games/cs_shock_csmb.htm It's very simple to use. Whoever hosts creates a screen name, a room name, and a password. Once this is done, give out the name and password to those whom you are challenging. Those connecting to the game click join private game. The other player(s) will type in a screen name, the host's game name, and password. When connected, the guest players may select yes at any time. The host player may not click yes until all players are present that he wished. There is no chat field until the game begins, so you may wish to do this in an orderly fashion.
All games must have a screenshot of the game's end e-mailed to me at
[email protected] and those of you that are in my squad, know Otto's e-mail address. You must send it into him. The competition is two weeks long, and I require the 200 IC entry fee as stated above. Prizes will be based on games played, the number of people entered, and the amount of money recieved. I will try and get the mid-competition results to you either at the end of the week, or have it announced at the weekly meeting! That's all for me, I will be playing some games as well. However, I do not accept any prize money so if you win against me great. If not, it doesn't count! With that said:
GOOD LUCK! -----------------------
