January 5th.  Monday - 0400 hrs. First Lieutenant Cosmic stared at the still-dark sky above him as he waited for his squad to assemble before him.  As he waited, he thought about Squad activities and inactive troopers that needed to be tended to.  Thoughts ran through his mind...I wonder if this will be my final time to think about Squad duties.  My squad was second best in the Elite Squad Competition...would this event prove us right?...Or wrong? Would this battle result in the destruction, or honor of the Raiders? ----------------------------------------- January 4th. Sunday - 1500 hrs. "It is good to see the Raiders prepared for battle," began Platoon Commander Fury.  "Your objective is simple.  You must plant explosives in the hidden Rebel base that we have found.  Squads one, two, and four have already come back from their mission to weaken the base's defenses.  You're the last phase in this operation.  Good luck." Cosmic got up from the table and saluted Fury.  Cosmic's squad got up and saluted as well.  Taking a deep breath, Fury saluted back. Once the saluting was done, the Raiders walked out of the Briefing room to check their supplies and get ready for the operation... Once all their weapons were all checked and ready, Cosmic ordered his squad to turn in early.  "You're all going to need the rest.  In this operation, I'll need you at your optimal level." "Yes sir!"  Replied the squad simoultaniously.  Cosmic nodded. "Dismissed." ----------------------------------------- January 5th.  Monday - 0400 hrs. Cosmic nodded as his squad assembled.  "Ok troops.  We are ready to go.  If you have any doubts about this mission and want to stay behind, my pistol will take care of that.  You'll be here permanently and forever.  You have been trained to do this operation for several months now.  Let's not screw this up.  Let's move." The troopers nodded and headed for the Speeder bikes to begin their Operation....
