I would like to start off by saying that we should take time today to think of how fortunate we are to all still be alive. Today should have been spent with our families, our loved onces, and all that care about us. We should also take some time tonite to think about @trus's family and his soul. *Looks up at heaven* May he rest in peace.
"This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time"
This is true. We spend so much timing just sitting around, and we are wasting our life away: unaware of the fact that something could strike at any minute and we're done for. POOF! We'll be joining @trus. Never forget:
"You never know what will happen tomorrow: so make the best of today."
September 11, was a shock to all of us. Bin Laden "caught us with our pants down" you might say. It was the first attack on our nation since Pearl Harbor. Since then we have all been licking our wounds and thinking of ways to get back at the Afghans. Some did it by flash cartoons (gotta love madblast.com and newgrounds.com) others by going to Afghanastan and wreaking havoc, yet more stayed at home with their families and proved that we are invincible! That this would not cause AMERICA to stop functioning. Look how far we have come in a year. From worrying to make sure that our loved ones were all right, to staying close to our loved ones in case we lose them. It is a brand new world to us....one we may never get used to leaving them.
