On September 11th, 2001, the United States of America was attacked by cowards who thought they could show their "power" by inflicting pain and suffering. Many lives were lost, and people mourned for their loved ones. It may have seemed, at that time, that these cowards have won. However, that would be wrong. The events following 9-11 have proven that these terrorists have completely failed in their objectives. Patriotism is now in the heart every American, and the bonds of friendship and love have united us even more so than before. I believe I speak for every American in stating: The United States of America will not be broken in two by petty cowards who think that killing innocent people will solve or prove anything. Our nation will not be broken by terrorists who don't even have the courage to show their faces to the people they kill. We are the land of Freedom, Independence, and Oppertunity.
