In my ever lasting searches for a good news story, being the illustrious journalist I am, I stumbled across an IRC interview with Ian Liston, in the Emperors Hammer chat room.
Ian Liston is, if you were not previously aware, the actor who played Wes Janson in the Empire Strikes Back.
Your illustrious and proficient Chief Editor, Bear, asked this question:
When acting, did you actually get a sense that you were immersed in the SW world? Or was it only apparent when you watched the movie after it had been made?
Ian Liston replied:
Only after the movie was made did it really dawn that we were part of something very special. Something almost unrepeatable in movie history.
This was among several other questions asked, such as "Did you like Episodes I & II?" to which he replied "Some tact is needed, but ESB [Empire Strikes Back] was definetly the best movie - one of the top 10 of all time, and I would think that even if I had not been in it.".
The full log will be posted in the coming hours, on the Emperor's Hammer domain. I'll let you know about the URL as soon as I can.
