just a quick general question in comparison to the last ESC will there be Equipment upgrades for the "winning" squadron like we had last time?

I addressed this in PM, but I feel that the rest of you should know. The defending ESC champion, should they win, will not get upgraded equipment, but if someone else takes the throne, they will.
